Oh we can. 2-0 up 3-2 down last time out. -
And the believers just lap it all up. Any one other than the great Moggasaurus is just too much risk. Let’s just stay in a state of mid table malaise than try for more.

Think you’re all being harsh on Preston. They have their very own cursed training ground in euxton and obviously 4 stands now. It’s the big time with the attitude and swagger to match. That said they do have the Indian sign over us. ? Ps. For what it’s worth I’ve a fair few nob end supporting mates and I’ve enjoyed many a trip to turd moor with them and my mates at least couldn’t give a toss about Rovers, like us they’re not looking for a rivalry in a way clubs like Bolton, Oldham and Wigan are. We both have one. That said in terms of history and honours we cast a rather large shadow over our fellow lancs clubs and it shows. -

Technically he does start every excuse with something like we’re not making excuses BUT... makes excuses. -

Don’t recall too many times Moggasaurus has specifically blamed officials directly although he definitely does. It’s just another chapter in his big book of excuses often trotted out in rotation to hide his own failings. Other chapters include slow build. What do we expect how can we beat xyz. Injuries. Covid. Moving in the right direction in touching distance of the play offs. ? -

Don’t get sucked in to naming names. To the believers no other human being will be as good as saint Tony. But the LET tells us the Venkys are great so theoretically there’s no issue with them selecting a better manager. -

All in all another game as dull as the manager himself. With dross football, camerawork, commentary these ifollow tenners will be disappearing as fast as season ticket holders at this rate. 7 points off the relegation zone 7 points off the play offs. Won’t be far off that at the end of the season. -

Or even fellow mid table sides. Unless we come across a side in the relegation zone and down to 10 men where we make hay this is the norm for a side terrified to ascend beyond mid table mediocrity. -

I’ve been totally nauseated this week by the Lancashire evening telegraph’s pro Venky propaganda. For all we hit the nadir with Kean and then coyle I think they’re as useless today as they were then, they’re just less involved. Currently whether fans think we should replace Mowbray or not the one think I think everyone agrees on is that there is little chance the Venkys will make a half way decent decision. Even appointing Mowbray, which has worked out better than anyone dare think at the time, it was probably more to do with a certain Middlesbrough based football agency than any grand plans. The boardroom led by Swag is still a shambles. For all they unfathomably pay the bill (well run up debt with the bank of India) my position on them is unchanged over the decade never forgive never forget. The Venkys are scum of the earth.

Am I right in thinking that for all Jerome ‘crocodile tears’ Anderson is persona non grata effectively the relationship with Kentatro still endures under a different guise through messrs honeyman and Horner. If so have they really learnt anything. For me the wounds of 10 years ago are still open and festering. I doubt they will ever heal whilst the Venkys are here. Anything good, including fantasy delusions of promotion will be somewhat sullied by their existence. Ps. Not connected to this directly but in the same theme as shysters of the last decade. If anyone read it Swag was in the Sunday times and came across as expected.

When it comes to the relative success or failure of this season I’d first like to hear directly from our illustrious CEO. Does the manager have targets. If so what are those targets and who sets them, the manager himself or a higher authority. Then providing there is a target what happens if he fails to achieve it. Personally, I’d be astonished if there’s any. Just bumble along in the mid table, then spout the odd sound bite in the press about playoff chase when in reality we’re at least 2 wins off that needing 2-3 teams to lose 2-3 consecutive games.

If was to judge Brereton from arrival to just before April lockdown I’d genuinely say he’s one of the worst transfers the clubs has ever made in terms of value. Well up there with a Davies or Grabbi. If judge him from April to now he looks a decent player as far as pretty much a non scoring striker goes (what is it 4 club goals). But can’t escape the fee and in order to justify the price tag he has a long way to go not least of all consistently chipping in with goals. If he was an academy graduate playing for gratis I’m sure the criticism wouldn’t be as harsh but he isn’t and the fact remains until the last few months he has looked like a £7 million pub player.

Chorley 3-2. ?. Don’t dislike Wigan half as much now Paul cook has left but still funny.
