Bell has been poor since he joined, we've needed to improve on the left back position for years. BUT for Mowbray, signing him up to a new contact is easy, cheap (assuming it is) fills a squad place for a position we need. Unfortunately for us, its lazy and unambitious.

Imagine the pain when the club announce a new 3 year deal for him. Couldn't stay fit in his 20's, he'll have no chance from now on.

Similar to Bradley Johnson, its just a shame it hasn't really worked out. He's definitely got talent and seems like a decent bloke but he's injured a lot and hasn't impacted on games anywhere near as much as we've needed him to.
