Gallagher a first pick yet again despite consistently being our worst player -

Lampard would certainly attract players to the club and Rovers would be in the press headlines again because of his name. -

He was sacked at Huddersfield for a reason. No one else has come in for him since. It's a long stretch to say "we would be promoted". Sorry but no. -

It's highly unlikely in the case of the former because there are far more attractive clubs than Rovers looking for investment and unlikely in the latter because there's not many clubs who have those sort of people. Admittedly, Burnley have shown it's possible but we'd be very lucky to find people as good as them Going into admininstration would be huge gamble -

Bournemouth had a wealthy benefactor and Southampton a brilliant board who plotted a route back to the top The problem as I see it is that if we went into administration we would kore than likely end up in League Two, like Bolton. -

Cowley was sacked after 9 months at Huddersfield for undisclosed reasons and from what I can see has been unemployed since. Why would he be top of your list of potential Rovers managers? -

Not been a good week has it, with the cricket and Rovers? Far better to half a glass empty, then you're not as disappointed -

I've never seen such a disinterested bunch of players as in the last 3 games. They were just going through the motions tonight -

Just a continuation of the QPR / Preston games. Absolutely appalling -

Eric Morecambe to Andre Previn: "Listen, I play the right notes but not necessarily in the right order." Tony Mowbray to the media: "Listen, I pick the right players but not necessarily in the right places" -

Two rookie teenage plus Bennett in defence. This isn't going to end well -

Football specials were great fun for supporters and good revenue earners for the railways but all too often this happened. You can't blame BR for stopping laying them on -
Yes, I'd rather your donation went to a homeless charity instead of a football club if possible

45-3. My 250 target looking optimistic now
-
He bowled badly though which is why he was dropped. Two of those wickets were very lucky and second innings he bowled more full tosses that balls he pitched
-
Bess bowled like a drain in the first test. England stuffed here, 250 would be a good score batting 4th some brainless bowling by moeen at the moment. Pitching far too short
-
Root got a top edge to a sweep shot, didn't get over it and roll his wrists like Rohit who played the sweep beautifully right through his big innings. It's hard to believe England will bat as badly again but India probably have enough runs on the board to declare now
-
Harvey Elliott- let's enjoy this season together

I think you're being unfair Rev. The lad's about 17, he's not fully grown and he's still a baby in football terms, and his form has dipped a bit but his ability sticks out like a sore thumb in our team of plodders and he never gives less than 100%. -
Same could be said about the first Test - would England have won if India had had first use of that pitch? Winning the toss, batting 1st and trying to make a big score seems to be the preferred tactics in Test cricket these days.
-
More about England bowling poorly and a brilliant skilful innings by Rohit plus Ashwin being in a different league to our spinners. I don’t think we would have made anything like 330 batting first. It is a poor test match pitch though specially prepared to suit India
