Can we hold out against 10 men or will it be Boro all over again ? If we get ahead there's an interesting stat on the BBC website Rovers have lost 19 points from winning positions this season - with Villa the most in the Championship Leeds are no great shakes - we should have beaten them on Boxing Day

Cyril's brother. Top player was Peter - future England star. It was a big story at the time - can you imagine today's players doing the same? Their religion is self and money.

Great story; thanks for posting. Surprised fans haven't mentioned him before. It appears Bobby Svarc settled in Blackburn after he finished playing and has a longstanding security business. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Svarc Also makes you realise how much young players would benefit from listening and being coached by former players such as him who would like to pass on their knowledge but have never been asked.

We are Rovers. Never Blackburn

Your finishing positions in the past 8 seasons have been 7th 14th 13th 15th 15th 13th 7th 13th Leeds "Dull" United.

Leeds have failed to make the playoffs since you returned to the Championship (at the 3rd attempt) 8 years ago, often flattering to deceive by starting well but falling away. I've not seen anything to suggest this year will be any different.

Based on our 2 games against Leeds, neither will your lot.

The "Not the worst team we have played this season at all" beat you at Ewood Park and, but for stupid defensive lapses in the last 4 minutes, would have done the double over you. Finally, I would like to say that Leeds are definitely not the best team we played this season. That accolade belongs to Sheffield United..

No one wants Mowbray to be sacked but fans do want to see signs that he can sort out the team's problems and it's not an exaggeration to say the Boxing Day debacle has been a tipping point for some people. He still has plenty of goodwill among most fans after last season but that is quickly being eroded by the continuing defensive lapses. Results have been poor. Mowbray needs to show he can rise to the challenge, otherwise the mood at Ewood could darken
