  1. He could have done a lot worse under the mad regime we have. Have a look at the teams below us and in the third division.
  2. He said he didn't make it today, so not the same old shit, was my point.
  3. I respect the feelings of other Forum members. I wrote I love Tony and so does Rev in invisible ink.
  4. 4/1 - Michael Appleton 6/1 - Derek McInnes 8/1 - Gareth Ainsworth 8/1 - Lee Johnson 10/1 - Joey Barton 10/1 - Jonathan Woodgate 10/1 - Michael Duff 10/1 - Rob Edwards From Sky
  5. I agree - and said so at the time. You do have a way with words Booth, so I may have overstepped the mark. Maybe.
  6. I don't really like football that much anymore. Ewood is a ritual these days.
  7. You set it up for me. We were outplayed by a very good team. I think the fight was there, just not the ability.
  8. Dolly, a football fan cannot swap allegiances from one club to another. Otherwise I hail your good taste.
  9. What's embarrassing is tuning up every few years hoping for some glory.
  10. I've been ill and only my wife insisting a day out would be good for me got me to Ewood today.... In the pros column I had to park a loooooooong way from the the ground. A big crowd - although a few rum buggers in today - and a good atmosphere. Sadly we were outplayed and when chances did come our way at 1-0 down we failed to take them. And each substitution seemed to make things worse. Glad it's over.
  11. Thankfully it will also signal the end of you calling TM a "moron." It's not a great look you know.
  12. What was the John Curtis thing?
  13. Have you looked at where we are in the wages division this season?
  14. Yes BBC, not LT as you suggested.
  15. Well dalliance with the play-offs is better than relegation and mid table finishes. As for the money......most of that has been to cover loses.
  16. I think it was Andy Bayes from the BBC asking the questions.
  17. The decent thing to do was to tell Mowbray that if we didn't get promoted then his contract wouldn't (or would) be renewed. He could keep that to himself. In effect by not talking to him, that's what has happened. For some reason I've always liked TM, but I can see he shortcomings too. That said there are a lot of managers haven't been successful at this level - many who have been lauded on this site. With the resources open to him TM has got us into contention this season, something that were unable to do under other managers. So, I feel regret that he didn't do better. Sadly none of us can have any confidence in a good appointment can we?
  18. First question. What is my budget? Second question. How are player decisions made at the club?
  19. Not quite true. The fella has work for the club for five years and a level of respect for his work should come into play.
  20. If this is the case, then I think it's a little shoddy by the Rovers' management team that an announcement about his future should sneak out in this way.
  21. I think that was my point.
