  1. Not read much of this thread, but if Rovers have said they "expect an approach" from Derby then he is as good as gone. I imagine Eustace has told them that's what's going on so it'll be down to cash now. We might luck out on another appointment and we stay in the playoffs but honestly this is really fucking boring now isn't it. Can't keep any decent players, can't sign any and can't keep good managers happy. Nearing the end of even giving a shit now.
  2. Is Chaddy actually Suhail?
  3. I think its more a case of Travis "rallying the troops". Would be unwise of him to come out and be like "This group of players as it stands aren't good enough. We really need some help to reach the playoffs". When we are back to full strength its more than feasible to think we can go a good stretch of games again without defeat and back-to-back wins...just that it will likely be we won't ever have our preffered XI on the pitch all at once and even some of those need improvement. I genuinely think we need better reinforcements with pace and players prepared to be direct than an out-and-out goalscorer. Gueye is proving to be good foil now he's got up to speed but we do need some more direct wing play to chip-in with substantial goal numbers and assist....although of course both would be nice and indeed if we had SS this season we would be well embedded and an almost shoe-in for the playoffs (did I just massively contradict myself!? 😂)
  4. Aasgard just scored fur the pie eaters
  5. My Mrs is (very sadly) a staunch Liverpool fan so recently watched him in the cup vs. Southampton and I thought he did very well and even finished the game at right back and still did well. He still is, however, VERY lightweight. Needs a few good chippy dinners. Definitely not up to being in a midfield two due to this, although if we had a formation change and he was part of 3 with Travis and Tronstad he could very much dictate a game
  6. One of my all time favorite games that one. Immediately after the absolutely battering by Fulham too IIRC
  7. Well overdue a beating of these b4$tards. Let's get it done!! COYB
  8. I went to buy one...then realised I had clicked on the Senior ticket. £349...no thanks 👍
  9. Properly made my weekend that! Ha ha thick ba$7ards!
  10. I agree..it absolutely helps but equally it isn't the reason for decent attendances. Notlob have been through very barren spells of attendances, but now they have an engaged, excited fan base with excellently priced season tickets that are getting people to attend. If they come up, they'll beat us twice in the league as their fans will be exorcised to attend both home and away and generate that siege mentality against their 'rivals' something we can only dream of. We couldn't even get a good attendance against Burnley last season and embarrassingly didn't even sell out the parts of the ground that were open never mind huge swathes of the ground being closed. We will struggle to get anywhere near their average attendance levels on more than say 3 occasions next season.
  11. I see the dumbing down has already begun. "Small tweaks and not major surgery". Club is an absolute shambles from the very top to the very bottom.

  13. Is that you, Steve?
  14. Isn't that a massive contradiction? Unhappy with a man with relevant but not exacting experience but happy with a man with zero experience?
  15. £400 a ST is about £150 too much. See Nobenders, Bolton and Hudds for the way to go to get bums on seats
  16. The About section is Brent esque 😂
  17. Don't think I'll be having a ST again for a long while. I didn't renew in the summer on a point of principal and I've only been a few times this season due to conflicting family commitments...is much harder to say no when you don't HAVE to go to Ewood. The rot is well and truly in. When literally every club in the country are looking at an uptick in attendances we seem to have stayed still or gone backwards and it'll be a record ST sales this summer barring a huge shift in cost.
  18. If we go down via goal difference I won't be assed to scrutinise individual matches, that clearly isn't the issue; the same as us missing out by GD last season wasn't. We shouldn't be anywhere near this sorry mess. After finishing just outside the playoffs the last two seasons other clubs would be looking to kick on and their supporter base would be filling the ground out most seasons, but inevitably we conspired to f*CK the whole thing up in a way only the Rao family seem to know how. Mark my words; if we go down on Saturday, which sadly I think we will, don't expect us to be back at Championship level any time soon. We got lucky with the make up of League 1 last time we were in it and we had a manager (as much as I wasn't his biggest fan) who had been there, seen it and done it. We now have one who is honestly abysmal and the club is in a much worse state now then the last time we had to put up with this crap.
  19. Don't worry, John Fleck will save us
  20. It wasn't. It was straight down his throat. A basic save.
  21. Simply, simply, disgusting. That little passage of Britain and Hyam resulting in Hyam getting a yellow sums it up. Embarrassing
  22. Wow. Unbelievable. Lose this and we are finished.
  23. A CFO is similar to a CEO whereby they would usually sit on the board or directors as the head finance honcho.
