I just don’t get why we won’t shoot. I know we’re awful, but Christ, no shots, no goals etc. Has anyone told JDT or any of our players that goals win matches?

They’re so bad, they’re pretty much asking us to get at them, every time we win the ball. What do we do? 3/5 of fuck all? This is well shit.

There’s nothing really. A lot of possession, but no threat whatsoever. There are never any options on to pass to, I’ve seen more movement in a morgue. Really poor all around tbh.

I think this Saturday’s match will be the penultimate one for me. I’m working away next week (funnily enough really near Coventry), so I miss that home game, then Burnley is obviously a Tuesday night.

Whilst I get that the money we receive from TV is important, it isn’t half frustrating to have a Saturday night match this week. I’ll probably just get one regardless, as it’s just what I do. There will be others less tolerant than me that will definitely think ‘what’s the point of a season ticket if half the games are on TV?

Madrid just turn up when it matters, that’s the concern for City. Modric and Kroos both play like they’re still 21, yet they’re still well into their thirties.

There’s no point mentioning possession, we know we will always have more of it, but never actually score. It just makes you wonder what the point of it all is.

All our goals seem to come from our own mistakes. It’s very rarely a magnificent piece of football from the opposition. The opposition don’t even need to beat us, we’ll beat ourselves. Because we’re nice like that.

As soon as I saw there was a sold out away end, I knew that the players wouldn’t turn up, even though the fans have. No spine, no fight, no effort, just absolutely nothing.

Can’t you? It’s not an isolated incident this season, to be fair…

Football is the only sport that technology doesn’t seem to work in, which is ironic given how much money is knocking about in it. I still think it could work, it just needs to be managed a hell of a lot better.

The players are backed in the stands, that’s a given, but they need to give us a lift and at least look interested. There needs to be some more lung busting runs, crunching tackles, or going full on into a 50/50, instead of trying to just nick the ball off the opposition. If you’re down in the dumps, you can work hard to get out of it first and foremost. Slow, one paced football won’t win football matches.

Mowbray under achieved here, but let’s not re write history. Mowbray’s sneakiness isn’t in the same solar system as Kean’s sneakiness in hoodwinking football fans in general.

I think I’d rather us be mid table all season, than get our hopes up and be in the top 6 for the most part, then fall away. Particularly, if it happens for the second consecutive season. Whilst the transfer window wasn’t JDT’s fault, I don’t think we are playing as well as we could be though. We don’t help ourselves with the goals we concede. They’re always from our fuck ups, rather than being undone by moments of magic. It’s so frustrating to see us losing, then not being fully committed to 50/50s, loose balls with the keeper and just having loads of possession and doing nothing with it. We don’t have a great squad and it obviously needs reinforcements badly, but we don’t look like a team of grafters either. It almost looks like JDT is waiting for the summer to start again, whether that’s here or elsewhere.

I don’t boo myself, but Christ, how else are they meant to know how dreadful they were today? It was an embarrassing performance devoid of fight, passion, spirit and forward passes. Not exactly going to yield cheers from all sides of the ground, is it?
