  1. It has. Think he's very much yesterday's man. Wouldn't want him back despite the super job he did for us.
  2. Of the new signings tonight: Leo - thought he looked calm and composed. Made one cracking save with a touch on to the bar. Just hope he's going to catch a bit more rather than an inclination to punch. Based on tonight, looks a better prospect than Pears Hill - good performance. Gave us a bit more solidarity. Pity he's not ours. Moran - we know the lad's got a bit of quality, again, pity he's not ours Tronstad - a bit better than previous showings. Jury still out. Siggy - we know he can play a bit but really should have squared that great opportunity and result could have been so different. Poor decision making there. Telalovic - might set Chorley alight, enough said.
  3. 'Play well' and lose! What the feck happens when we are poor!?!? No gloss, we are deep in sh1te - wake up and smell the coffee.
  4. Think we know what's going to happen next. Not happy with Leo's inclination to punch everything.
  5. Think right decision to rule 'goal' out. As soon as happened I thought 'foul'.
  6. Coventry look a poor side and there for the taking. We've done okay but we don't look threatening. Simply have to win games like this otherwise we are fecked.
  7. As I posted Chaddy, in all professions and vocations there are those who are poor at their job, those who are average at their job and those who excel in their job. Most roles in life include a degree of subjective judgement and those who excel in their jobs get most of those judgement calls right. I am sure messrs Proctor and Dalton perform their roles to the best of their ability but that does not mean they make all the right subjective judgements. I am sure Owen Coyle performed his role as Rovers' manager to the best of his ability but, IMO, he was found sadly wanting. Just because an individual holds a certain position, it does not mean they excel at their job nor does it mean they are infallible in their judgement and decision making - IMO, our CEO, Waggott is a prime example.
  8. There are medicals and there are medicals ranging from the 'can he walk' to the most stringent. Parts of medical judgements are subjective - it's down to the judgement of the practitioner. Why do you think Rovers sought a second opinion on Hedges' injury? And then you have the competence and abilities of the medical practitioners. The competence and abilities of doctors and physiotherapists, as in most fields of life, vary widely. I've seen two physios over recent times - one was abysmal and the other one was superb. Perhaps Rovers should review their medical screenings because it would seem Ennis was signed when he was far from fit enough to start and complete a full 90 minutes and it would seem we will be 3 months into the season before he might, and I think it's a big might, be ready to complete 90 minutes. Rovers simply can't afford players on 3 or 4 year contracts who are unfit for purpose.
  9. Well perhaps Proctor needs sacking as his judgement seems awry! Seems he was never going to be ready for the season's start - farcical.
  10. Think this and the QPR match are going to be much more difficult than some think. Not certain we do too well when up against teams that scrap portraying their managers' image and Robins and Ainsworth fall into the scapping category. Coventry had a confidence boosting win at QPR on Saturday with Simms netting twice. QPR have gone 9 home games without a win and we all know who's up next down there and what frequently happens when teams are searching for a win or a striker is searching for a goal. Sadly, I think things are going to go from bad to worse.
  11. Watch the Ryder Cup highlights, closing speeches and presentations - should give you a clue. Really ?!? Some of those lads in the Ryder Cup have just played up to five four hour matches in the space of three days with huge physical and mental demands.
  12. Been watching the Ryder Cup since 11.00 and thank goodness our magnificent golfers have given us cause for cheer. Quite simply, golfers are a different class to footballers in all aspects. Therefore, just catching up with events at Ewood and it sounds as though we were dreadful. I have recorded the match and will watch if I'm unable to sleep in the early hours of tomorrow morning! Make no mistake, the alarm bells are ringing loud and clearly. Our club is at a crisis point and that is not alarmist. I think there are so many deep rooted issues and problems that it is difficult to see how we move forward. Don't be surprised if Neil Warnock gets a S.O.S. call before Christmas!
  13. Pretty sure you'll come to regret that remark. Yep, most keepers make mistakes when they are learning but they also show an ability to make match winning saves on a regular basis which Pears only manages infrequently. IMO, he simply hasn't got it and whilst this selection lunacy continues, we'll continue to ship goals and points. So am I. A Rovers' win coupled with Europe lifting the Ryder Cup will prove to be some day!
  14. FFS, Pears again. Unbelievable decision. IMO, masochistic management.
  15. Needless to say, a real toughie. More so than ever, team selection key. Pears and Dolan MUST NOT start. Don't blame Leo at all for Cardiff's first goal. Think Pears is a busted flush. Time for Leo to sh1t or get off the pot. As for Dolan - we have far better options and the sooner we get this, IMO, big headed, useless upstart out the building permanently the better. Head says Leicester (3-1), heart says we will see some magic from Moran, Szmodics and Sigurdsson with Leonard proving again he can be 'our Johnny on the spot' (3-2 to Rovers in a goal thriller).
  16. Terrific stuff. Went shopping with the missus today on condition I could have a glass of red for every Rovers' goal. Two happy bunnies tonight!
  17. Interesting and decent line-up. 4-1 to Rovers with a brace for Telalovic.
  18. Interesting that within the relatively small confines of this MB, three have already declared they will not be at the match owing to the BE being closed - think the BE absentees will be in the hundreds. In fact I reckon it will only take circa 150 Blackburn Enders not to attend, who would otherwise have done, then Waggott's decision will be in the red. Waggott, I think you are a right plonker and rather than save Rovers money, you are going to cost the club money - moronic absurdity.
