  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe limited, ability wise, but a big influence on a game, and when he isn't in the side we do seem to struggle. Perhaps it is time for a new broom though...and a new style of play to emerge from the chaos around the club.
  3. No reason it would be unpopular if it's true. It actually looks to have been a good pre season, like you say we'll just have to see now how good, or not,the new lads are.
  4. golden rule of management is`nt it,never take your frustration out on players in public, they`ll just think your a **** and down tools
  5. I said a few days ago, the scouting department is doing all it can with a budget of nothing and Pasha refusing to allow players to earn a wage. But the long-term damage and reliance on cheap players over-performing expectations will not work in a league where everyone else is spending more and more money on better players.
  6. Iโ€™m not keen on Travis leaving, purely because it is just further evidence of our club being dismantled, assets being sold and replaced by Poundland signings. From a purely football perspective, Iโ€™ve never thought he is much of a player, very limited ability wise.
  7. I know this wonโ€™t be a popular statement, but Rovers have been busier in the transfer market this summer, than they have since I began following them in 2013. IF Miller & Henriksson indeed sign. No, we do not know they guys are going to be great at this level, but imho, the club has worked to find players. However, we still need a forward.
  8. yeah, everyone was wondering where bill fox had found all that money from๐Ÿ™‚
  9. West Brom have signed 3 players. Nat Phillips who had a really strong spell at Derby. Another defender from the MLS and a striker for big money from Scandanavia. They already have a strong core full of Championship proven players and a couple of really direct wide players.
  10. The first half was poor from both teams and they both improved in the second half with Stanley starting the better and deservedly taking the lead. This seemed to have a positive effect on Gillingham who had the better of the game after this. I thought a draw was a fair result but for Stanley I think a mid table finish will be considered successful. Tyler Walton was Stanley's best player but bizarrely he was substituted after 85 minutes when Stanley were pushing for a winner.
  11. So you still want 3 including Miller (so presumably once Miller and Henriksson sign, just another right winger). Ok. Doesnt explain the need to repeatedly type out your constantly changing "squad plans" which dont even match up to this. Wasting your time and constantly moving the goalposts.
  12. This would be when Livingston and Dobson arrived from Coventry for ยฃ750,000.
  13. Why have you got Pears in there but not Buckley?
  14. I would personally but Jackson has said they want another centre back reason why I increase but the squad is still at 27 players as it was previously squad plan again keeper - Toth Pears Michalski RB - Alebiosu Miller CB - Hyam Carter McLoughlin Wharton plus 1 more LB - Pickering Ribeiro CM - Travis Tronstad Montgomery Tavares Forshaw Baradji or Henriksson RW - Hedges 1 more AM - Tyjon Cantwell LW - De Neve Karbgo CF - Ohashi Gueye Leonard/or another one
  15. I'd of thought Jackson may of done an article on the Swedish lad seeing as there's been numerous reports, one being he's having a medical. Would be nice to know if this is true or not.
  16. i reckon we can get a result at wba, they have money problems, hav`nt recruited much and their new manager ryan mason is in his first job,0-1 to us,yoshi with a last minute goal๐Ÿ˜„
  17. yes, garner and sellers out till christmas, mackays excellent side he`d built was ageing and breaking up , he had to use his youth players, who to be frank wer`nt upto it,collier, shepstone, skiinner, dewhurst we only just stayed up with a win away at barnsley,i remember chris sulley`s goal, amazing as he used to treat the halfway line like a minefield๐Ÿ™‚ it was rumoured after a particularly miserable home defeat to oxford over christmas that jack walker started to take a serious interest in the clubs welfare
  18. Is that a version of Schrodingerโ€™s cat?
  19. We did , won at Barnsley near the end of the season to stay up .. Chris Sulley scored I think !
  20. Only 31, I mean, whatโ€™s that in the modern game? Very sad.
  21. How did Stanley play? any stand out players?
  22. I was at Accrington yesterday against Gillingham and was looking forward to seeing Bradley Dack playing. Sadly he was a shadow of himself as he struggled with the pace of the game. His injuries have clearly influenced this but he was portly too which didn't help. He started on the right side of midfield but was shifted inside to a role he is more accustomed to as a deep lying striker. Still his impact on the game was negligible and he was hooked after 70 minutes, probably 10-15 minutes later than I thought he should have been.
  23. We didn't announce that Karl Hodges gone Derby but we announced Nacho Sancho as his replacement Hasn't Waggott been working his notice to the end of July, So an appointment should be happening soon. They have employed Sports management agency to find a new CEO
  24. NEC really impressed me tbf. I expected them to be about as good as a bottom half Championship side, but they moved the ball really really well. I have a bit more respect for the Eredivisie outside of your PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord types now.
