  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah they are definitely tuning into games like Oxford at 2am Pune time 😒
  3. All I know is that Pickering will be emptying his pockets and Callum Brittain will fall out.
  4. I can think of more games that Gueye has caused problems for us than he has for the other side.
  5. The venky logos look perfect completely covered in shit. Sums them up to a tee.
  6. Even some of the Venkys logos around the pitch look worn or at the very least in need of a clean. Perhaps they don't watch, despite what is claimed.
  7. Poor initial touch (off a difficult ball tbf), but he more than made up for it with his subsequent effort. So many players would put 80% in to getting that ball back. He put 110% in and forced the mistake. The difference between making it appear like you want the ball, and really really wanting it. I loved that aspect of his play here as well. Cross was mint as you say.
  8. Today
  9. I'm sure there'll be some sort of mix up with the paperwork or he wants to move somewhere closer to his second cousin twice removed or some other bullshit.
  10. That cross was perfect. The most dangerous ball you can play whipped right across the six yard box, just slightly too far for the keeper to commit to coming out.
  11. And if you have someone up the pitch you can make the clearance much quicker as you can pretty much just hoof it. None of this fannying about waiting for the play to break
  12. Best band of the 90s.
  13. Thanks team! What a forum. Absolutely love coming on here. Find it mental if a Rovers fan doesn't use this forum!
  14. They hate playing us up there. But i cant see it this time round. They will score. We won't. 2-0.
  15. Fucking dynamite. Seriously well done. A quite brilliant achievement! Happy Christmas to you all.
  16. The fans form part of my thinking as well. As usual, the best sporting fans in the world. Who on earth gave those players permission to go on the raz mid series? They had only played 6 / 7 days at that point. Badly i might add. Yup. Mcullum and Stokes. The ones you wish to keep. Mcullums record. 44 tests - 25 wins - 17 defeats - 2 draws. Won 10 out of the first 11. Won 15, lost 16, drawn 2 of the last 33. Decent improvenent against the average teams. Little improvement against India and Australia. Bashing up Afganistan, Bangladesh, the West Indies and Outer Mongolia. All English fans want positive, aggressive cricket. I would rather lose trying to win anyday. But these players have no filter. Carte blanche to do as they please. No one ever gets dropped. Once they get these central contracts we are stuck with them for two years. I believe our players were undercooked and not prepared and are better than they have shown to date. And that is the fault of those in charge. The ones you wish to keep. Stop rewarding failure.
  17. Why is a 5'9" player clearly not going to win headers?
  18. Yesterday
  19. The players being on the piss is criminal for me, as more and more stories come out about the the 6 day piss up when fans have paid thousands to travel. I'd fine them the players fees for the remaining tests as a minimum, astounding they they think thats acceptable. English cricket was in a very good place before we left for Oz, the numbers don't tell lies, make changes now and its back to 2 wins in 17 tests, stick with the current regime for me, let me own this Ashes series and make adjustments to suite.
  20. Rovers have a very good record in the north east but Boro are in fine fettle and it's going to be a tough game. We'll probably be Driving Home after Christmas with nul points
  21. How does and in what way does McCullum think England are "making progress" and "improved as a cricket team"? If the past 3 Tests is "progress" perhaps he could what going backwards looks like. The man is deluded and making ridiculous statements like that is holding fans and the public in contempt. And of course he wants to stay on. He's being paid a shed load of money. Get rid now.
  22. Jason Roberts to miss an open net in injury time
  23. Lucky initially but a really good cross. Espanol's first goal wasn't bad either!
  24. I’d honestly be surprised if we went for a centre back. Wharton can’t be far off a return, maybe Carter too. Then you have the three young lads - Acheson, Pratt and Litherland all knocking on the door. In the unlikely event that we do bring somebody in it’ll probably be O’Riordan back from his loan at Donny.
  25. I like the way we are set up now. It’s a coherent way of playing that suits our playing staff. If we can ever get this team on the pitch we’ll be looking good for the play-offs. Problem is - we can’t. Toth Alebeoso, Carter, McClouglin, Wharton, Hedges Baradji, Tronstad Cantwell Gudjohnsen, Ohashi.
  26. Yeah he wasn't great last year was he? That's quite often the case for first loans though, particularly with attacking players. From what I've seen of him at Bolton I'd be confident he could step up to the level this time. Even if Brighton decide to keep him where he is for now, he'll get another loan to a Championship promotion contender next season.
