I've always found the staff at Ewood really helpful and patient with old gits like me. I had a problem last week when my granddaughter became me on the ticketing website and she doesn't have anyone in her network so I couldn't order tickets for people in my network. It transpired that our accounts have the same email address (she is 13 and doesn't have an email of her own) and this was causing the problem. It was sorted out on a five minute phone call with an extremely competent lady.

I suppose it makes sense given their records. That said if they are on reduced availability even when fit surely we need another centre back? Also if Wharton is starting I guess that means we are benching McCloughlin who has - his sending off aside - been very good. Puts us in the weird position of starting Miller ahead of two proven centrebacks even though they are available. Hope Miller shows us his quality.

I’m a dinosaur regarding the modern world so I usually have real paper tickets sent out to me by post. The last two times the tickets that I ordered first thing on Tuesday morning and were apparently sent out to me by first class post that evening have failed to arrive. So I’ll be queueing up for replica tickets today. Once, Mm, OK. But twice ?

Thanks for that, rang the ticket office when it opened and they put me right in line with your advice above. They said having problem with automatic updating with IPhones, a bit of a problem when vast majority will have IPhones, could be chaos ! That is an hour and a half that I won’t get back 😂

Whilst the Watford win provides a little bit more hope for the season, had a touch of the 'Hull feel' to it - think both Hull and Watford in for long hard seasons with more managerial changes to come. Sadly for Rovers, think Ipswich are about to really hit their straps after their impressive demolition of SU and can't see beyond an Ipswich win. Think my decent punt on Ipswich at 21/20 will provide some consolation come tonight.
