  1. Past hour
  2. Saw it on an aircraft a few days ago , excellent documentary!
  3. Fill the manager's vacancy and a squad place in midfield . Double bubble. Anyone have facial recognition software? 😆
  4. I have always felt Ohashi would work well as a 10, playing as more of a second striker like Szmodics did, remember he wasn't a particularly "creative" 10 like Ozil but a poacher running from deep. Ohashi's passing vision is fine, and his positioning is good. He also makes all the other forwards he plays with better through his pressing. People are too harsh on him for being run ragged by Ismael with no support. If we played better as a unit, with a front four of Gudjohnson, Jorgenson on left, Ohashi 10 and Morishita on right, I think that would complement reasonably well, with Afolayan on a wing if Jorgenson struggles.
  5. No it’s not. Trust me.
  6. If it's the one Ive seen it's really good, fascinating stuff, particularly the early footage from Scotland but as you would expect we're relegated to an honourable foot note in the closing titles! 😂
  7. Still waiting for the Watford attendance from the Police!
  8. As good a place as any to drop this. Amazon prime now
  9. Looks like Steven nzonzi
  10. Eddie will be happy.
  11. Had a cracking run at Reims then flopped at Lens
  12. 2 centre forwards who both know where the back of the net is Leave 2 up front at corners Genuine wingers who can cross a ball and beat a man with a bit of skill Players in general who can beat a man with a bit of skill as opposed to simply outpacing them. Something a bit more creative than simply "over-loading" ie. just trying to get 2 players on one Players with a bit of technique who can hit the back of the net as opposed to row Z if they try a shot from 25 yards. Defenders who think their primary job is to keep the ball out of their net and not try and be Michel Platini Never ever give a goal away pissing about with the ball in your defensive third of the pitch. Keepers who have re - learnt the long lost arts of narrowing down angles, catching the ball instead of punching it and thereby not giving it straight back to the opposition and commanding their 6 yard area. And above all realising they're also there to stop the ball going in the back of the net, not to try and be Lionel Messi. Stupid I know. Will never catch on.
  13. The guy in the picture fits all our criteria, tall and french-looking
  14. Colin Hendry, Derek Faz, Simon Garner, Jacob Murphy
  15. Wasn't out of those files was it ?
  16. I looked for the attendance on the BBC web site this morning on the basis that it looked very poor from what I saw on TV. There was no attendance figure given this morning but just looked again now and it’s 12,285. They must be having a laugh, lucky to be 7500 from what I could see. It will be interesting to see what the police numbers are.
  17. Google AI: Rudy Gestede is the person in the picture. He is a former professional football player and is now the Head of Football at Blackburn Rovers. He played internationally for France at the U19 level before switching to Benin. Gestede played for Cardiff City, where he helped the club earn promotion to the Premier League. He was loaned to Blackburn Rovers in 2013, and the transfer became permanent in January 2014.
  18. A very good post. At the end of the day, Tony Mowbray was a football manager, a competent one who knew what he wanted his team to look like. He knew the importance of good characters, he knew what he saw a functional team to need. And when Waggott came in, he had no desire to play his own real life football manager. The above isnt a defence of Mowbray. My point is we have succumbed to the modern way where essentially the one designing the team is someone in a suit. He wont know how to make a winning team, everything will be based on data, nothing on character. The manager is lumped with players he didnt pick and he just has to work with them. For us, that setup is made so much worse because the likes of Gestede and Owen in those roles, before you even think of Suhail, are totally out of their depth.
  19. Yes I believe I would. I truly am a fucking renegade.
  20. Rudy’s brother
  21. It's the golfer Harold Varner III
