I paid my £140 Rovers TV pass. It would have been easy to just watch it on a fire stick, like many do. For almost all of the season so far, I’ve just sat there with no emotion, even when we have scored. In seasons gone by the furniture is in danger of getting broken and the dog jumps out of his skin, when we score, but I care very little any more. I feel very defeated and hope the posts made above about protest ideas, gain some traction. I think starving them of funds is the only way and would like to know a bit more about the season ticket holder ideas, so wonder if that can be explained a bit more on here. I will not be paying for the Rovers TV pass and will definitely not be going to Ewood when I’m next in the UK as this is not supporting Rovers any more, it’s paying to keep people who I hate, to remain in their positions at the club.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
lraC replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Who will sack him though? Pasha and Gestede are complicit in this and are responsible for giving him a 3 year contract. The owners are unlikely to know. Pasha’s course on how to run a football club, will not have sunk in yet, he will surely have referred to page 412 subsection 3.9 where it says if your manager doesn’t get a win in 10 games, sack him, but he probably thinks thats gone now and it doesn’t say no win in 10,11,12 and 13 as no one has usually gone that long and still been in a job. -
I have gone from season ticket holder,to walk-on, to non-attendee. My effort alone will make no difference to the outcome. But it makes me feel like I am doing something.

More importantly to me. I saved £50

Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

It is as simple as that. If owners cared they would be doing everything now in January to try get guys in of quality. There's no fight from those in charge they seemingly are letting us be cut a drift like a dead asset. -
Plus, the manager needs to leave Mr Blobby would get more out of them
-
This can't continue. We need to make it uncomfortable for Pasha and Rudy at Ewood Park.

Woke up and surprised no news yet. Maybe Rovers want to give Val a good Sunday rest. -
The money is clearly very important to the regime. Withdrawing from giving them any is the only way that we as fans can have any power in this situation. Protesting inside or outside of the ground has been proven to be ineffective. Unless folk are willing to take it to the next step and get the games abandoned (something which people are reluctant to do, understandably) then this needs to be knocked on the head. The way the game has been set up we, as fans, hold very little powers when it comes to making decisions for the future of our clubs, heritage, community etc. Withdrawing financial support is the only tool we have.

Similar to the Premier relegation and giving Kean a new contract , the Authorities knew or had a good idea , but choose not to rock the boat , .Easier for BRFC to disappear to the lower leagues!.. -

The problem the regime faces is that the longer this situation continues the more and more suspicious it gets. I mean most of us have known for years that the fundamental metrics in football - results, points, performances, league positions, improvement, promotions etc. are absolutely and utterly irrelevant to the regime. I'd suggest you are deluded if you thing the owners or their stooges spend any of their time thinking about such things. But up to now their disregard for such trivial matters has been hidden away. Now it is coming clear even to the head in sand brigade and the wider football world. With 1 win in 15 and sat in the relegation zone there really is no more to say and nothing to hide behind there. It is going to look very suspicious indeed if they do nothing now. Some would even suggest that relegation is desired if they allow this untenable situation to continue where it wouldn't be permitted at any other club. -

This was all so predictable (look back at my previous posts), all so avoidable. 150th year, only to be shamed like this. -

1000% this.

I don't think Mowbray could keep us up but someone could. In earlier years Neil Warnock or Big Sam might. Even Damien Johnson as caretaker could do better with the squad IMO. But we know that Pasha/Gestede will not get shut of VI. That is a very depressing thought.

They (as in Venky's) simply don't care. If they weren't entirely disinterested, they would hauling Pasha, Rudy, Owen etc. over the coals and demanding answers. They wouldn't persist with one of the worst managers in the club's history. No invested owner would sit back and let its asset be run into the ground. This is pure and utter neglect. We need to find what would make them hurt, that would bring about real change, especially if done perpetually until they come to the table, instead of them just doing whatever they want with impunity (like the past 15 years). -

Regardless of squad talent, the players went into battle for Eustace. JE was one of the ‘lads’ and it absolutely galvanised the squad. He had Trav on the pitch who would walk over hot coals for his team mates. Ismael is the complete opposite. His personality is dull. He stands on the side of the pitch motionless. He walks off down the tunnel at the end. And I don’t even need to pass comment on Cantwell. -

clearly the policy before the season started was to flog whatever value players we had, recruit some cheap replacements and just keep our position in the league, it was concluded there were 4/5 teams worse than us and we`de survive, that was the height of our ambition, unfortunately it`s flawed it looks like we are going to be relegated -

I think Baradji did it too. or somebody else only not quite so egregiously as he pointlessly tried a cross to cover up for his incompetence. -

The best price you can get on us to be relegated across the market right now is 13/8 The bookies now think we're going down. I don't know whether a win on Tuesday will shift that dial much. -
They couldn’t even tell Mowbray if they were renewing his contract or not when he had about 4 weeks left. He wouldn’t touch us again.
