  1. Past hour
  2. I see Frank has been reduced to tantrums over referees and VAR already. I would humbly suggest your team just needs to be a bit more disciplined.
  3. Good to see Hearts doing so well. Nancy has been a disaster at Celtic Has Rohl did ok/good since his appointment at Rangers?
  4. The trouble is that the social services equivalent is probably the FA!
  5. that happens with every transfer we`ve ever made under venkys ,we did`nt see any money from rhodes, armstong, wharton, szmodics or any others we sold for big fees, they`ve barely kept the lights on either, the **** won`t even pay for a decent pitch,it`s so bad they won`t even pay for sky sports in blues bar, where has all the actual money gone????,they`ve received untold millions from player sales, the poor managers have received hardly anything
  6. I think we'll now see this club flogging off all decent young talent to Prem and other clubs U21's. We'll never never get near to another Adam Wharton now they've discovered another revenue stream at that level.

  8. Well beaten Rangers today 👍
  9. My main disappoint with him is that once the tribunal sets what we get for him (appearance/sell on fee etc), it will be Venkys that will use that to keep the lights on for a few months rather than it being used to benefit the team
  10. Former Rovers player Ally Macleod trying to explain Scotlands loss to Peru in the opening game in World Cup 1978
  11. i could`nt care less if he develops into the next zidane,i just hope he fails miserably and ends up collecting glasses in the bigg market😊,is he really a standout talent???personally i think he`s just another teenage hopeful who thinks he`s better than he is,certainly got no stand out ability that makes him a certainty for regular first team football
  12. Today
  13. hearts for the spl😁
  14. I think there was a player there in SG. His attributes could have been moulded into something useful. Not necessarily a traditional footballer but certainly a thorn in the side of the opposition. Allardyce could have made something out of Gallagher. He just needed someone to teach him how to use his build effectively and what positions to take up during specific passages of play. I don't think Mowbray or JDT were the right kind of managers for him. Eustace might have been, but by that point he was injury prone and his time here was coming to an end.
  15. Fair point but apart from Wharton those have yet to make it as professional senior footballers. I think Tyrone was more referring to ones we produce that reach that point, and at roughly our level. Since Hanley and Jones, that has been our speciality really. We have had a slight sideline in CMs. But Travis was brought in at 17 from Liverpool if I remember rightly. Buckley didn't consistently make it at our level but has undeniably become a senior pro footballer, still has time, netted a decent fee and isn't far off our level. You could sort of count JRC too, but we got him a little later as well after Manure had mostly developed him. And we did make Finneran, but he hasn't made it yet and of course got snapped up quickly too, like Tyrone suggests. It would be nice if some of the names you mention do come good though, and we can branch out into CMs and not just CBs.
  16. ‘We’ need a projector, aimed at the main entrance to JW stand with: VENKYS OUT PASHA OUT WE WANT OUR CLUB BACK Delivered from the anywhere off club property, every game as people arrive at the club. Not a thing the club can do. A bit extreme, but you get the picture.
  17. Yeah I know, but anyone thinking there'll be much of a reaction this side of xmas will be disappointed. Hopefully there will be more comms post xmas to get the momentum going.
  18. it`s very satisfying to send away fans home miserable, even better when they face a long journey home🙂
  19. I find it mind boggling that anyone tries to write off a 17 year old because they have not yet broken into a team that qualified for the Champions League. Can only be an opinion clouded by dislike, rather than based on reality. I'm not saying do not dislike him (feel free to like/dislike him), but don't let that dislike blind you to reality
  20. I thought that we played OK yesterday but have played better and lost this season. We got lucky with both goals, although it was inevitable that Ohashi would eventually get a goal by harassing defenders. But we were still comfortably better than a woeful Millwall side. I didn’t realise until after the game that Millwall substitute Caleb Taylor is Martin Taylor’s son.
  21. finneran is never getting close to a first team appearance ever,it would take a massive injury crisis to even get him on the bench, the sneaky little stoat will end working in a warehouse when they release him
  22. we don`t need a public appeal for a boycott,it`s already began, the crowd yesterday was about the same as the oxford game, nowhere near 11,500,more like 7,000,if the chicken disrespectors don`t **** off we`ll playing to even less next season, whatever division we are in
  23. Finneran is far better than Tyjon, in terms of both current ability and potential, He is a 17 year old playing regular football (and impressing) in Newcastle's U21s & getting paid on a par with the first team players at Rovers. Can see him getting his first team debut with Newcastle in the next year or two, whilst still a teenager
  24. Its personal choice and people should be allow to do that. It's their choice Isn't is Sodexo who runs the Concourse kiosks and its their profit you are hitting not Rovers?
  25. The one thing I would say about the timing argument is that the coalitions direction allows both the festive attendance - but on the priviso you don’t spend in the ground - and then the full boycott is in January when all of the usual festivities are over. I would urge people to follow the turn the taps off. Ultimately, this is what will damage the Venkys. You can still show your support and attend but not giving the club money hurts That said, even if it only disrupts revenue by 10-20% then it has done its job. I’m sure the coalition can point to that in next years accounts when revenue is down 😄
