  1. Past hour
  2. As I said when he first came in. HE IS A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE MANAGER.
  3. Fucking hell, recurring theme this. Obviously different and totally unavoidable reasons here, but that's 3 games abandoned in a week, and in the two I've heard the scores of we were winning 1 nil in both. Bizarre.
  4. Rudy said this squad is stronger than last season, so by his logic we should be in the play-off spots, not getting completely and utterly destroyed by Charlton.
  5. Just another day in the rollercoaster. You can use this performance as an argument for relegation. Or you can reflect back on performances against Ipswich/Hull and think usual mid to lower half plodding. TBH, I think the league is so poor we will have enough. Interestingly, for the first 15-20, thought we looked ok (if not exciting) and they looked dire -lumberers who were never going to score (their record for scoring not good). Was thinking at that stage how poor the championship really is. But then for 10 mins or so before the first goal on 31 min, they did really well breaking play up in their own third and hitting great long balls which caused us all sorts of trouble (and that was with Wharton playing well). Then the goal (simple free kick to far post, header, goal). After that, we offered nothing. Hedges should have been booked Miller should have had 2 yellows and off Pen wasn’t a pen Pickering could have been booked late on Don’t think there is anyone on our side who can take a striker like their 2nd? We had one shot on target? Ohashi –who some say is crap (not me). Meanwhile Gaye, offside again. Gud (who some think should start) –first 2 touches lost it, overpowered in midfield, offered little. Rovers crossing (mainly Cantwell) poor. Disjointed overall, not sure what the plan was. To be fair to Gud and Gaye, if you are going to play them, then you have to give them time and play to their strengths with good crosses. Gardner Hickman is a utility player who can plug gaps (but not right back). Pointless berating him. Why not bring on McLoughlin and move Miller to RB? Incidentally, he looked like a second rate Scottish player. Tronstad disinterested? Indeed. Wonder why that is? Counting down the days to escape the Stasi and shitshow. Cantwell was looking for fouls that MAY have been given in the prem but was poor in a game like this. Charlton were rudimentary but nothing untoward –blaming the ref (as per) is just nonsense. Don’t know about you, but I’m a bit sick of these journey men on easy street who haven’t delivered anything for years. Time to move them on and bring in fresh, hungry players (irony just to be clear). I do hope EJ delivers an uncompromising report.
  6. Was it the weather or the penny-pinching tools in charge?
  7. Yeah, we're transitioning into an exhilarating high tempo, high pressing game with a team of athletic players. Oooh errrr..... hang on.....
  8. I don't like Tavares at all he is weak and sureenders possesion all the time one way or another. Bad move bringing him on. MoriSHITa was awful today, Gudjohnson never got a kick, Big Mac was BigMac his Denielson do has not changed his habit of being offside.
  9. The interviewer needs to be careful, or he will get banned. Only nice things allowed in the press.
  10. A game to add to so many in recent years were we have not shown up. A goal down has had an instant feel of certain defeat, which came true. The team at the end felt like square pegs in round holes and so disjointed, even the most blue and white bespectacled fan must see how thin the squad is going to be when we have a few injuries.
  11. Do they really think we go to a local rag to get our information lol
  12. Caught Ismael’s radio Lancs interview. All angry about the penalty decision and the ref winking at Cantwell. Took the interviewer to point out that, regardless of that, we were pretty shit all afternoon.
  13. I was thinking that the freak weather last week robbed us of a nice league run of 3 wins out of 4 going into today. We'd have been looking up rather than down, what difference 10 minutes and a week make.
  14. Politicians do it all the time. They then release 2 or 3 stories per week every week in the lead up to election day.
  15. It’s massively different because Venkys / Suhail / Gestede chose to chop it up and change it greatly. So forgive me for thinking that “not being nailed on for relegation” is a good outcome to their actions.
  16. Yep, it's getting really bad when you are lookingback at a ducker and diver (Del Boy/Arthur Daley) with a certain amount of fondness (did i just say that) as opposed to an egotistical, childish, vindictive, underqualified, stasi like....etc etc
  17. Nah. Don’t forget we are “in transition”……..again.
  18. Probably an agent in Portugal has lined his pocket (again).
  19. this might be a blessing in disguise .... Hope national newspapers and some tv football jurno with some balls pick this story under "Freedom of Press".. make sure put INDIAN owned in big bold ...only way owners in India will notice when national pride questioned
  20. No it doesn't. A club should move forward season on season. If you have a huge clearout, then what you bring in should achieve at least what you have done previously.
  21. Interviewing, researching, writing up but not publishing. That way you can release a series of stories in quick succession & make it look like events are accelerating (faster) than anticipated & thereby create more of a stir. I imagine…😆
  22. Name one senior person in the Ewood Park and Brockhall staff who bleeds blue and white. We do, that is why it hurts so much. Especially when we have to look on and witness the mess being made at OUR club.
  23. We really are a team full of nothing players. Felt alot more connected with the British/Irish influcence throughout the team, Hyam, Sammie, Beck, Travis, Dolan, Baath, Leonard and there is more on that list. Haven't felt so disconnected in a long long time. Squad filled with foreign lads who appear less likely to stand up and fight or step out of line. Very deflating to watch.
  24. What does "the deliberate *banking "of stories" even mean or refer to?
  25. They love to give novices power and responsibility beyond their standing in the game. Kean, Singh, Berg, Agnew, Hunt others, now Gestede and Pasha, neither of whom have any right to be anywhere near positions of such power in professional football. The owners enjoy this because these sort of people are so grateful for the opportunity that they'll sit quietly and put up with the Venky nonsense. Trouble is that the Club burns in the meantime, but they aren't arsed about that, as long as they can tell themselves they are wonderful and pay people to tell others they are.
