I think that print would’ve worked on the green kit (which I like, and reflects the colours of the town badge). In this, it doesn’t work imo. Would’ve been better to have in subtle font the names of the greats who have played for our club instead of copy/paste landmark pictures. -

The point of playing him tomorrow is that if nobody makes an adequate bid, we will have to keep him and get him fit. It also signals to prospective buyers that we are willing to keep him if they don't pay enough, which helps get a proper price. -

They'll be over the moon covering all this windows outgoings with that one sale but at least it fits the trading model at last. -

What point are you making? That's not a good thing. Nor does it impact what I was saying in my post at all. -

We need the Championship version of Andy Todd - without the dark side obviously - so this guy sounds just the ticket. -

Not because we released them. Because we wanted to keep them but failed to give a decent contract offer. We lost them to Derby. -

Come on Simon. There's a world of difference between opinions on a shirt design and opinions on how the club has been run for the last 15 years. I find the idea that K-Hod has somehow become an apologist for the club since he joined the Forum to be completely ridiculous - I've heard him expressing his opinions strongly in meetings. That he might post what someone from the club said at a Forum doesn't mean that he agreed with it, any more than if I was doing it. As far as shirts go I have never owned or desired to own a Rovers shirt, so am pretty agnostic on the designs. But I realise that lots of people want to buy one or more every year and wear it often and that's fine. From time to time we have had input on potential designs but have never been directly involved in any final decisions. Given the lead times I imagine we are already too late now to affect the 2026-27 designs. I bought a few shirts for my sons when they were young and I asked for a 125th anniversary shirt as a present when they came out but my wife ignored my entreaties to buy one when they came out and missed them. So I will be getting a 150th shirt when they are launched. I'm guessing that it might be blue and white. -

Wouldn’t say clearly going to go he will only go when we get a fair fee for him so until then he should be available as normal -

What as in (for example) "Venky's/ Steve Kean/ Waggott/ Pasha/Gestede they're not really for me but it's fair enough if other people like them" Whilst you seem completely happy for people on here to have a broad range of opinions on anything you seem completely intolerant of any criticism of anything that's said at the Forum and want to take your bat and ball home anytime anyone says anything critical. We all get that everyone gives up their time for free etc and we are all appreciative of that but no-one forces you to do it and you have to accept that not everyone will agree with what the Club say or do or the responses all the time. In fact probably not very often in the current climate. -

All part of the 'Rovers IS Blackburn' strategy - only refer to Blackburn/Darwen landmarks, only make any effort to promote the club/sell tickets in Blackburn/Darwen, only engage sponsors based in Blackburn/Darwen. Smaller and smaller we go. -
Dubois to throw absolutely everything at Usyk, and try to roughhouse him in the first 5 rounds. If he's not KO'd him by then Usyk wins easily. DD has a Puncher's chance but still expect Usyk to win.

Yeah but in fairness jdt had one of the full backs pushed on playing like they had a free role, they had the worst goalkeeper I'd seen in Whalstedt behind them and players like Markanday and Garrett starting a number of games yet riding the bench in League One and 2 the following season In JDTs first season we took a few hammerings but in the main the defence was solid -

Living near Hull I have seen McLaughlin many times and have friends and family who support Hull City. He is a popular player and generally regarded as being a solid pro. Unspectacular but reliable. I think he’s a good sort and has the championship experience our other signings lack. He’s always looked a bit short of pace when I’ve seen him, but that didn’t seem to hold Danny Batth back last season. Sensible signing I feel. Scored a lovely own goal for us last season too! -

We could do with an end to this avoidable and frustrating Brittain situation. He is clearly going to go, we need to then get in a replacement before the start of the season. Makes no sense to him tomorrow, just as I hold no grudge against him for not playing a friendly last week. Competitive game, can understand more, but doesnt benefit either us or him to play him if hes not staying. Give Alebiosu some minutes instead. Brittain will be a huge loss and depressingly to a team that we are supposedly fighting with, and another who finished below us. -

I never understand why people have to rate something as being so good or bad, instead of just ‘it’s not for me, but it’s fair enough if other people like it’. Imagine someone being my that arrogant that they think their opinion trumps everyone else and they won’t listen to any different opinions. What a world we live in. - Today

The idea doesn't bother me although we are celebrating the club not the town so I'd have preferred older images relating to Ewood and the club in general. I don't like the fact that the 'print' is a darker colour falling on the yellow which means it looks predominantly a kind of a dirty mustardy brown colour. I'd have preferred it to be a base colour which didn't go such crappy shade when it goes darker. Red or grey maybe. Also makes it a bit more subtle.
