  1. Past hour
  2. Swansea had 600k bod last week for him rejected
  3. Didn't it say in the LT our initial proposal to him had been rejected? I mean how difficult can it really be to re-sign a 34 year old CB for a further 12 months? What the hell were we offering?
  4. I see this as the age old Venky distraction tactics. We saw it in full effect last season after the January debacle. Attempts to blame Broughton, Cheston and Silvester for the shenanigans, so they left quickly under a short club statement and then they can claim to have learned lessons and that action is being taken. The latest chaos with the dismal interviews, then stooge 1 being forced out of the shadows and now the negative publicity with the ladies team and presumably dismal season ticket sales so another scapegoat needed. Only we are running short on options there so bring forward Waggott's retirement. They're playing games and sadly people will fall for it again. Nothing really changes until the owners and their main stooge are gone. Until then they'll just keep on shuffling and distracting.
  5. Meanwhile the former leading side in Lancashire will be playing below teams like Sporting Khalsa and Loughborough. Embarrassing, the Venkys effect.
  6. What’s Jackson saying about the shock exit? Can only see the LT headline. He mentions a power struggle?
  7. They’re completely clueless so if they all went they’d still appoint useless tossers to replace them.
  8. I thought Waggott leaving at the end of the season had been rumoured for a while? The statement suggests a falling out but my impression was there was a boardroom split with Waggott against Rudy/Pasha. Again, just my impression, but Rudy appears far more anti-fanbase than Waggott. I wasn’t a fan of Waggott, but I’m not sure this is the positive that people think it is. I think what’s left behind could be far worse.
  9. Lose track of all the nonsense that goes on these days at Rovers - as others have said (and was speculated recently) then Gestede for CEO could be a possibility - anything which doesn’t make sense and lacks ambition usually fits the criteria.
  10. Or the new CEO comes in, a professional with gravitas, and bails within 12 months?
  11. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25185397.burnley-fc-women-go-full-time-pros---replace-rovers/ Dingle FC Women to go full-time pros - and could replace Rovers Not sure if this was always planned, or if they are jumping on the opportunity
  12. It also coincides with the need for quick cash. It is cost saving as much as anything else. Rudy steps up and the owners save £300,000a year
  13. Ultimately been no unrest in years , certainly not public , When the poop hits the fan the axe falls
  14. You do know shebby is dead.... what if in surprise turn of events ...steve kean becomes CEO I would fall off my chair laughing and check myself into a mental asylum for supporting ROVERs through venkys era
  15. Cousin Vinny, Shebby, Suhail.... who would they send next if he is out the building ? Whoever it is it'll be someone who knows nothing about football or Blackburn.
  16. Today
  17. Looks all set for Pasha to take control. Grim ptospect.
  18. He always seems to shit himself when interviewed. Just put the pressure on him during these. He’ll soon crumble, as the pressure will be all on him now.
  19. I'm fearing operation dumb down in the latest chapter of managed decline is about to hit another gear. If they are going to shrink the club to its own income levels or thereabouts it's going to get very painful indeed and we'll only get rid of puppets once the deed is done.
  20. Had a chat with someone today. Told Venkys aren't looking to sell but not happy with those running the club. Waggott the first but not expected to be the last. Also alluded - as most had worked out - that the current leadership did not want promotion.
  21. This has the feel of a cancer sufferer celebrating getting rid of a crappy wig. It doesn't solve the underlying problem and the next one might be even more crappy. Lets hope they don't apoint someone direct from chicken HQ to take over.
  22. Spot on den. The further probems as I see them, this gives the club a reason to hold back transfer funds, if any had been set aside in the first place and Waggott, like him or loath him, was the best CEO we've had since this lot landed, he wasn't the problem, the owners are the problem. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
