  1. Past hour
  2. I think you are very wide of the mark here and if you care to do a bit more research and speak to people who attended the meeting (especially this who want for the first time) you will understand what is really going on here. The club use these meetings as a way of meeting their obligations and are literally getting an easy rise and taking the fans for mugs. Some will accept this and some won't and you are free to choose the former, but this is creating more harm than good and I stand by my call for the Fans form to disband.
  3. Swedish guy will play "right wing" I think, but narrower Out of possession Ohashi De Neev Cantwell Henriksson Tronstad Travis/Baradji Ribeiro McLoughlin Hyam Miller Toth In Possession Ohashi Cantwell Henriksson De Neve Tronstad Travis/Baradji Miller Ribeiro McLoughlin Hyam Toth
  4. It's why I am a bit worried about the complete lack of links to a winger (since the Saudi one stopped), every other signing we have made is pretty much a cheaper salaried replacement for a player we offloaded (not including loans): McLoughlan = Batth Miller = Brittain Alebiosu = JRC Tavares = Weimann De Neve = Dolan/Markanday We know that Pasha hasn't allowed a transfer budget above what we already have, so I think we are creating funds by reducing wage expenditure and then that funds the difference (say a 5k player replacing a 10k one, and using the 250k odd difference for transfer). The transfer fees themselves, like for Brittain will instead be largely used for day-to-day costs, and maybe 10-20% to help get a replacement to placate the fans (Miller I would guess they knew they needed a replacement or there would be revolt). So in a practical sense incoming transfers do not impact the lack of budget.
  5. Impossible! Sales do not impact the budget πŸ˜‰
  6. Comments doesn't help mate, you are better than this. O2G does a fantastic job in the minutes sometime he has been doing for some time
  7. I'm imagine Baradji will be the Travis replacement (if it happens).
  8. Yep, normally you might manage to sell him to a newly promoted team, but given all 3 of them look stronger than usual, then best they can manage may be a loan with an option to a Huddersfield/Stockport etc
  9. Might drag until the last week of the window then! Can't imagine there are many takers for Buckley at the min.
  10. Lorenzo my beloved... best cook book ever written by a Rovers player hands down.
  11. Another Aussie, Viduka, would be up there with one of the best arrivals to English football from the SPL.
  12. https://arsenalnews.co.uk/2025/08/05/arsenal-have-had-second-bid-rejected-for-blackburn-rovers-striker-igor-tyjon/ Dunno if already mentioned, but Arsenal still sniffing around Tyjon, second bid rebuffed. I'd imagine they've had encouragement from Tyjon's side to still be trying.
  13. I think they are trying to flog Buckley before announcing him, otherwise they might have to spend some money out of pocket...
  14. At least in the second half he'll hear the voices cheering him on. First half he'll think he's playing in a library
  15. Coming together as one! | rovers.co.uk July 2023 - Waggott boasting about continuing to attend both Fans Forum and Supporter Consultation Meetings, even though the latter he disbanded three years previous during Covid under safety reasons and haven't occurred since. They're laughing at us.
  16. Probably spacing out all the incommings, as it will be our last one until Travis is sold late in the window, and we have a flurry of teenage loanees arrive on deadline day
  17. Are we expecting Henriksson announced today? Seems to be dragging on a bit.
  18. I meant the quote before you, it went on the wrong comment.
  19. Hyam needs to strike up a partnership with his replacement.
  20. I’m not worried. I’m more concerned as to whether the chap from the last case is going to get his bananas back before they go off.
  21. Which is probably why my point was that we could do with a good set piece taker to help with that.
  22. In which case, I blame a lack of coffee, and your mind being sharpened by watching Indian court case drama
  23. I think he was just joking that Amaruso was in the same category
