  1. Past hour
  2. Wrong here again RF99. My list including 2 keepers and left back which now we don't need 2 keepers but only 1 and with Riberio signed up we don't need a left back signing hence why the number has come down. Also I disagree we need a right back signing with Gestede. Wishlist:- Keeper Centre back Centre midfielder maybe 2 if Buckley is move like I would 2 x right wingers Striker Sell:- Pears, JRC and Buckley Contract renewal for Batth and Weimann.
  3. Makes no material difference to Blackburn Rovers whether we got £2 million, £20 million or £200 million for him. All it does is affect how much the regime have to find from elsewhere to keep the lights on. As far as I am concerned the less the better, at least it is one less revenue stream and hopefully one step nearer breaking point for those responsible.
  4. Last time I was involved it was 1.5 weeks pay x 30yrs, or length of service, but this may have now been capped at 20yrs. But again, I don’t know the people or circumstances.
  5. Correct. But I’d still rather be at Ewood than on here moaning about the ref every week.
  6. Hmmm, err, £80million, why not. Champagne corks all round for Swag-hail.
  7. Dunno about that. Statutory redundancy pay isn't great, and i can't imagine the club has gone above and beyond for anyone if made redundant.
  8. Bit of a cop out.
  9. I won’t be ‘happy’ regardless, It’s irrelevant as the team will see zero of whatever sell on fee it is.
  10. I don’t know to much about these redundancies, but if you’ve been working at the club for over30yrs, you’re about to get a golden handshake in redundancy pay, I’d be over the bloody moon!! Many people retire with a pint down the pub if they’re lucky, but I don’t know the details.
  11. I agree 100% but nothing surprises me
  12. You were fully informed about what you were signing up for.
  13. To be fair I’ll still be paying less than you buying an individual ticket most games. But the thought of giving any money at all to Waggot, Pasha and Venky’s is a horrible one.
  14. Here is his profile in full https://www.linkedin.com/in/paul-gray-722a9a279?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=android_app He has been at Rovers for 4 years in academy role so this appointment seems right and carry on the good work done by Stuart Jones
  15. So, realistically, what final figure would you be happy with?
  16. I don't mind people making their own minds up about whether to renew season tickets or not. But don't whinge about your decision, down the line.
  17. Travis has posted an Instagram story saying it's disappointing news about Les Field (manager's PA and first team player liaison) and that she'll be missed. She's always seemed very popular with players going off their social media. People like her being made redundant while Waggott gets a big pay rise. Feel ill at the fact that I've renewed my season ticket.
  18. Nothing to complain about… the lad was bundled out the door as quick as feasibly possible.
  19. That's a curious one. Darragh Tuffy took over as U18s manager in October But Kidd was still here in February, as he took over the U21s when we were between managers & the U21 team were assisting Lowe. So presumably Kidd has a new role, as otherwise he wouldn't have been around in February to take temporary charge of the U21s No clue what his role is now though. As usual, Rovers communication has been first rate 😉
  20. The “ B” side of “ Shop Around “ .I used have that on a “ London “ label 45. The Essex - A Walkin’ Miracle
  21. I recall when he was still here Tyrone's Shoelaces said his strong point was, every pass he makes has a message on it, as per the article. Spot on judgement.
  22. No idea which thread this actually fits in. Looks like long time player liaison is leaving. Either that or Trav is!
  23. Today
  24. Liverpool team that day. Furnell Byrne, Yeats, Moran Milne, Leishman Lewis, Hunt, St John, Melia, A’Court Rovers team - Else Taylor, Woods, Bray Clayton, Newton Douglas, Craig, Lawther, Ferguson, Haverty Dougie scored our 89th minute winner in front of a crowd of 21,700.
  25. It is a big sell on percentage by the looks of it. Birmingham had a 5% sell on fee for Bellingham, as opposed to 15% on Wharton , but received more up front. I don't think anyone can complain or otherwise until the final figure is known.
  26. Anyone know what's happened to Ryan Kidd? Used to be u18 manager, but noticed on the new intake story the other day now described as Darragh Tuffys side
