When Mafoumbi arrived I don't think the plan was to look abroad for signings particularly Obviously Eustace was in charge and we all know the age/ profile of player he wanted and it wasn't foreigners. The change of thinking to overseas players has only happened this Summer

I still feel an appeal on Miyoshi would have a strong chance of success. The problem is it would take time for it to go through the appeal process, and in the meantime we wouldn't know if we could sign Baradji or whoever else.

The only reason he is being let go is because he has a slot - it’s inept from the club what will be more inept is if we sign koji miyoshi knowing we didn’t need to free up a spot if we signed him before he came on for Bochum over a week ago or we sign Baradji who I think is rudys top target and he’s not ready to kick a ball until oct/nov time so of the two positions were after only one slot available so one will need to meet the criteria and going by the summer recruitment so far I think their struggling

It is a lie. Why does giving notice negate the fact that away fans are having to set off at ridiculous hours, possibly before public transport can get them there? That justification has never arrived. I dont get why any fan would see 7 games at 12.30 as anything other than a bad thing for supporters.

Nothing is 100% with any transfer but I trust my source better than some of the rumours on here. I reckon it is 90% happening. They definitely want Buckley out due to his wages, plus he is well down the pecking order atm.

Some signings will be hits and some won't. We took a cheap gamble on a player just like we done before like on Marco Rigters. Some work and some don't. Or could we look elsewhere for ESC player, maybe a winger

The fixtures being changed on an ad hoc basis constantly bears no effect on your life as Rovers is your top commitment. How that effects anyone else is completely irrelevant to you.

Given that today the club doesn't know if they loaned Duru for 3 months or 10 with an option to buy, I'm not sure we can trust announcements made by the club... Not to mention Mr Maguire and his "signing"...

I have sympathy for fans but this is why EFL and Sky tried to given fans plenty of notice of this fixture changes, This is why they brought this in. The PL and its teams doesn't need to play league games overseas given that The PL goes to America and the far east during pre season. Also given the revenue streams from the PL, other leagues don't generate that.

You can say practically anything on this message board, but it doesn't necessarily mean it is true 🙂 As with all other things 'factual' about Rovers, we will have to go on the announcements made by the club, rather than any speculative commentary (however well intentioned) from outside agents. However, if it is true, and Buckley gets to play in the coolest league in the world (based on sales of air conditioning units per capita), then good luck to him.

I agree 100% that what Blues Bar should be. Take this Saturday with Rovers playing at Hull and the game at 12.30 and on TV, Rovers should be opening blues bar up and offering food like Full English Breakfast and Pint or dinner food service like Chicken Burger and Chips or Salt and Pepper Chicken and chips or Chicken tikka curry and rice with a naan bread. Rovers should be showing Sky Sports and allowing fans who get down early for a few pints before the game to watch live football. From looking at some people quoting the statement from the club on X, they believe it's about people chanting about Tommy Robinson. I have no idea either way but that's the only thing I've seen anybody say regarding the statement.
