DE. replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Sounds more like a threat than a good time. No thanks. -

Aimed at the corporate types no doubt. Those who'll spend a bit more but ask less invasive questions, all 15 of them. -

They have sold out initial allocation. I think an extra 1500 has been allocated. -

Rovers are advertising An Evening with Valerian Ismael in the Premier Suite on January 8th. I went to one of the with John Eustace and enjoyed it. The Community Trust arranged this and proceeds went to a cancer charity. The charge, from memory was nominal. This one is £35 for adults and £20 for under 18's with no mention of the Trust or charity. Poor again from Rovers and likely to be another embarrassment. - Today

I'd declare right now, get them in for the last 30/45mins.

Seven down, Jacks chasing another wide one. Brainless batting. The bowler didn't have to do anything. I'd take anything above 270. Root 100. Well played Joe. Hope it sticks in the convicts' craw

Doubt tronstad will even be in the squad. I think he’ll be available next week. -
248 for 6 so it won't be that bad Jim! They should get 300 at least from here and the pitch is already showing cracks so its not a complete disaster. No team has got to that score at the Gabba batting first and lost I believe.

When you spend the summer trying to dismantle a popular and competitive Championship side that nearly made the play-offs last season and focus all your efforts and energies on cutting and reducing as opposed to growing and improving then even with serious efforts it's going to be hard to flog season tickets. But when you simply come out with the same old tired efforts as every other year a decline in numbers was nailed on inevitable. Strange that the only people who appear surprised by this are those responsible for the mayhem and decline we've witnessed here.

No, it’s not generative AI, it’s just an LLM, it only predicts what the most likely response to a question would be. also, Rover are rubbish playing against 10 men, and always have been. We rarely press home any advantage from it -
News From Other Leagues

Celtic have appointed Wilfried Nancy as their new manager. Didn't really know anything about him but read a couple of articles on him yesterday, sounds like this would be another Ange type appointment, where attacking is the main focus of his set up. Plays a back 3 and the 2 "wider" centre backs often find themselves higher up the pitch than you'd expect. Wingbacks are basically attacking wingers and its all about overloading the opposition in attacking areas. It'll probably work out really well for Celtic (domestically), as they are a cut above the rest of the league but like Ange, if he gets a move elsewhere in the UK, I'd expect it fail spectacularly. Certainly one to keep an eye on. BBC article, for anyone who's bored for 5mins: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cdegj67p1z2o -

Id fancy him over De Neve, & he would be a better fit at wing back (pace, energy, intensity & attack minded) than Ribeiro or Pickering Would be another feather in the cap of the Chorley loan pipeline too, he spent some time there last season
