All I am saying is we shouldnt just assume that they are ready. So for example, we need a right back if Brittain goes. We needed Tavares and will need to replace Travis/Tronstad if they go. Montgomery shouldnt be seen as a replacement in any of those positions. If hes ready, theres no reason that he cant also play minutes as well. But if hes not, then we dont have to still repeatedly flog him. Equally, we need cover for Cantwell. We shouldnt just assume that Tyjon is ready now. Its unfair to do so.

We've been straight with FFP for a while and recently has probably been the best opportunity in a decade to invest in the squad significantly. Coupled with the good periods of form and league position at Christmas by not 1 not 2 but 3 previous head coaches the time was never better to give the club a real push but no they didn't want to know. Oh so conveniently they can't invest because there is a problem over in India of their own making. The FFP excuse might have stood up in the past but no any more.

Rovers losses makes sense, I assumed you meant Venkys own business losses, and taking money out of the club, not putting it in. Commercial is the obvious one, aka overall income / turnover. Better management would improve that - I’m not sure it would be enough to put us into a position to have a lot more competitive salaries though.
