What a great option. Tap it around the midfield for whole of 1st half. Come out after halftime, the same player walks straight up to ref and uses four and abusive language, red card. They let us walk one in. 1-0 up against 10 men, all to play for with 45 mins to go. I'd accept that as a fair deal. It's way better than the position they were in. -
Seems as though it fell apart after Joseph was withdrawn with 30 mins to go

'Shock new presedent' Our fault that the pitch isn't up to standard so 3 points to Ipswich? - Today

Long throws wind me up. Everyone thinks they've got a long throw in their locker. Rory delap used to ping them in better than taking a corner, you see players do them these days and they barely make it to the edge of the box.

Really can’t see how either team could complain if ordered to play the remaining time 11v10. It’s clearly the fairest option of those tabled and doesn’t seem to have any reason why it can’t be accomplished. It is in the rules as a specific option so what would be the reason for not doing it? If Ipswich don’t want to travel for it they have the option of forfeiting the game. Let anyone that wants to watch 15mins football in for free and job done. -

For me form is history, a good manager will look to the future, and pick his best players. -

what's Nixon's latest piece? -
It took a while but coaches have figured out how to play against Guardiola's style. Therefore he's changing it. I do think it's funny that keepers launching it and Rory Delap style long throws are now all the rage. It reminds me of my youth.

I’d say they’d definitely lose… We’d have been declared the winner and therefore Ipswich would’ve been given a point for losing. -

Thanks for replying, I was sure we were the first ever live non-final game. It wasn’t the Southampton one was it (I remember Armstrong scoring at Darwen end and we lost one nil in 84) -

The problem is you can't get two points in a game in the EFL. There will be room for complaint (for someone) whatever they decide to do, but this would initiate legal battles that the league would probably lose. Nothing in the rules allows for this to happen, however pragmatic it may appear to be. -

I think the League will make an example of us to encourage teams to manage their pitches properly. It will be a full replay scores at 0-0. -

Yeah but say Ipswich beat us & got in the playoffs ahead of someone else... There's room for complaint there aswell. The game didn't finish, no one gets the full 3 points available but the points are shared fairly. Mve on. Don't see the problem with this. -
No, we were on a year before against Southampton.

I've thought this from the snippets ove seen of city. Haaland is a specimen of a striker, pace, power, touch, finishing he's got everything yet for the past two seasons he's been told to get in the box and score tap ins. Very good but a waste of his talents. I've seen a lot more of him running at players running with the ball etc which is better to watch. Then there's the keeper, a complete contrast to edersen in terms of ball at feet which suggests that isn't the most important thing for a city keeper anymore. I think we might see a sexier man city this season.
