  1. Past hour
  2. Thought Alebiosu looked good when he came on, but once again his no brain final ball led a great chance run away. Far too many times that's happened, and for me is why he will struggle if he does move to the premiership.
  3. I think even if Leicester get deducted 10 points, I would fancy them to get more points than us over 18 games until the end of the season. I dont see either Portsmouth or Norwich winning over the next couple of days though. I thought Oxford were done for but a great result yesterday. 2 from Oxford, Portsmouth, Rovers & Charlton would be my guess, and I think it will go to the wire.
  4. The manager (and club presumably) think the season will last forever. "There are still 20 games, 60 points to play for" "There are still 19 games, 57 points to play for" "There are still 18 games, 54 points to play for" And yet, games keep passing us by without a win.
  5. And there you go,an apologist all the way.You deserve everything that Venkys have done to this Club. https://roversfans.com/index.php?threads/venkys-is-the-proverbial-about-to-hit-the-fan.1522/page-32
  6. He’s played with a lot of intent this season. I just hope him and Tronstad can stay fit. As for LWB it’s obvious that we’re going to sign Hedges for another season and that they won’t sign another backup unless de Neve is sold. I for one hope we’re not too locked in the 3-5-2 system but play whatever formation ensures we field our best eleven on the day. Our squad lacks depth and we have to avoid playing our reserves out of position if we can.
  7. Today
  8. Genuinely starting to think it's spite. That rich they can just say fk that lot. Alot of India is poor, I've seen them at all these parties etc leaving in the Rolls Royce etc I bet they feel like Kings over there. Is that how they are looking at us, like we are peasants too and just able to forget about us?
  9. Did he not go on to say, it was a good job it was though, as Watford would have won on a good pitch?
  10. Forshaw had no problem with the pitch for 60 mins, played like prime Thiago.
  11. One last thing that I’m going to say on this subject is that all I want as a supporter is to have a well run club and owners that care. I appreciate that other supporters will have a different view.
  12. The whole league is shite tbf.
  13. Not having a season ticket is classed as being a non supporter now. Classy 👀. I was a season ticket holder for many years. Sorry that doesn’t fit your narrative I’ve supported the boys against Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town, Derby, Southampton, Swansea City, Stoke City, Norwich, Birmingham, and Bradford this season. Haven’t been able to get to every game. So don’t tell me that I’ve not supported the boys at all.
  14. Last year? Fuck off then. Another virtue signaller. We need these fuckers out of our club, but we also need to lose 'the rubber dinghy men' . Back your club or fuck off.
  15. Yes, also season ticket holder until last year. PS. No one wants a celebrity status.
  16. Several games. Fuck me. And you did reply...
  17. I could not reply to this comment. For your information, I have been to several games this season and I am a boycotter
  18. Are you completely mad? Gestede will be having a mini-hissy fit because a) there was a definite impact of the boycott at the game on Saturday and that means he will be under scrutiny and b) he definitely reads this forum and his stupid schoolboy ego will want someone to bash to compensate for all the hurtful things people say about his teensy weensy ikkle football brain which we all can see is weak and shrivelled and about as much use as clingfilm would have been in saving the Titanic. Pasha will be chuckling mildly in that clearly slightly unhinged way he exhibits when caught in the limelight, because after all, he knows there is nothing to do because the coffers that he allows small change to be dropped into are now completely empty. Unless you know different, it seems more likely that there will be outgoings rather than incomings, to balance the dodgy 'surface' books (the real accounts being something only those behind the curtains in Madame's smoking parlour in Pune get to pore over). And anyway, hasn't the crazy bumbling frog uttered the magical words, "Players coming back from 'injury' (yeah right)..?" So,don't hold your breath old bean. Call foul instead.
  19. My feeling is Venky have just given up on the club. It’s clear as they don’t attend, are never promoting their own ship as a status symbol. Their ownership at this point is puzzling. They don’t seem to be fans of the sport, don’t attend matches, don’t seem to even discuss the club. It feels like a total afterthought. So if it’s true they don’t care, why not sell then? At this point ownership can’t be a source of joy, certainly isn’t painting the Rao family in a hood light, and it can’t be considered prestigious to own an English football club soon to be in the third tier. I just don’t understand why they have not moved on? Let the club be someone else’s headache/love. My only conclusion is they’re now doing this out of spite. Won’t sell, won’t fund, wont pay fair wages, won’t even high a ceo. They either have no considerations for this “asset” or are actively trying to dismantle it.
  20. Embarrassing today, the principle was great but the execution was amateur. Most of the boycott was people who pussied out years ago and today had no impact. Hurts a few egos but the ones who are gonna save this club and are in the loop aren't the ones who are trying to be celebrities.
  21. So basically the same as those that oppose it The pride from turning up as usual at Ewood equates to the pride from participating in an almost unheard of boycott of the club? Especially when many boycotters were season ticket holders and had already paid for their ticket? I really don't think so! Any way, my gripe with you is not about whether the boycott succeeded or not, its that you positively wanted it to fail.
  22. Are you happy with the current owners? If not, how do you propose the fan base unite and protest together?
  23. They were averaging only a point a match even when a virtually full squad was avaliable until mid-October. No reason to suppose it'll be even as good as that in the second half of the season.
  24. We were shite they were just as shite. We barely created any chances. Gave the ball away numerous times. Two shite teams
  25. Yesterday
  26. He looks like a little schoolboy who's wandered into a man's game. Him and Cantwell give the ball away for fun.
  27. Left wingback is a glaring weakness but Ismael doesn't seem to be bothered by it. DeNeve is useless offering absolutely nothing going forward and a total liability defensively. Venkys clearly aren't the least bit bothered by relegation if they won't fund a replacement for Hedges who won't be back until the final match of the season at best. The budget and cutting losses is everything. Little wonder they are utterly despised by the what remains of the fan base.
