  1. Past hour
  2. A thing I noticed was that on the left hand side of the box it appears to list the trophies we have won without specifying the years we won them in** which you would have thought was an absolute minimum requirement. ** They seem to have trouble with that overall.
  3. Knowing what total horseshit the leadership was coming out with when chatting with themselves might not be considered a plus by said "management"...
  4. I absolutely despair if there's any truth in that rumour. Why do we persist in chasing shite that we haven't actually pulled the trigger on in previous windows? Kargbo and Hedges also spring to mind.
  5. Just thinking out loud here. After the Watford match our next camping could be 2 fold. Aimed directly at 2 groups. Current season ticket holders and those who are long term boycotters. Could we do a template email and get current season ticket holders who will not renew next year to email the club and tell them this. Same for previous season ticket holders, they could email and say I will return if club is up for sale. It does give another indication to the powers that be the strength of feeling.
  6. If Carlsberg did anniversary celebrations, they wouldn't come anywhere near Ewood Park.
  7. Not wanting to sound like Im having a go, (this is just my opinion) but ....they've had a rest all week. The sports science department should be able to assess if anyone is actually genuinely struggling otherwise it should be the strongest possible side. Ohashi needs to play, he's the only fit senior striker we've got. Baradji isnt even properly match fit yet, talk of resting him? - blimey. Cantwell - need his creativity. Toth in for Pears - anyone genuinely struggling or "in the red zone" rest, otherwise should be the strongest possible side. ** We need the win and some momentum. ** It won't be of course.
  8. I particularly like the box for a white shirt with a Maltese cross mentioning we play in blue and white with a red rose on the chest.
  9. I can't remember who the Watford right-back was, but Tony Field made him look worse than me. And that was pretty shit.
  10. An organisation I worked for was merely changing its name after 170 years and I remember how hard managers worked to engage employees and stakeholders. They had one particular metaphor about about an unbroken, golden thread passing from the late 19th century to the change in hand. Compare that with the shoddy shite on show from the bastards in Pune and the clowns they employ. What makes the neglect and disrespect so much worse is the fact that they were in possession of some very good suggestions and offers of help from specific supporters groups, which they duly ignored. Honestly, it's the Indian opposite of Midas-everything they touch turns to shit!
  11. Thank you very much. Generally, I am happy to support the boycott. It's part of a statement, along with the open letter etc. In the spirit of trying to make a difference, I am just thinking that my season ticket will mean that I am recorded in the attendance anyway. I am wondering whether I can be used in another way within the ground? At the same time I would not want to do anything to undermine the confidence of boycotters. I remember being with all the Blackpool fans in our joint FA Cup boycott-outnumbered by the Tangerines too-and how down -hearted we were to see so many Rovers fans inside the ground.
  12. a budget cleary, with none of his ability, thats more our kind of target
  13. There's been countless things people have tried to do "behind an avatar" and on rare occasion in my case public attempts. It's been over 14 years since my last attempt and the club was still in the Premier League then. Of course my list of grievances are so vast that some will be overlooked but the coalition have failed to address the two biggest insults from the current regime where Jack Walker is concerned. Then there's his family who as per usual get away with everything when new owners should be encouraged to ensure they never darken Ewood's corridors with their presence again. Infact they should never be welcome in Blackburn again. If the club hits the worst case scenario will they finally get their deserved share of the blame? Who was it who put Jerome Anderson before the trustees? Who had the most to gain besides the spivs and associated leeches? Think! Investigate! I won't be posting on here again (there might be a rare exception if it involves the Walkers) beyond my 40th birthday in November (resolutions are nonsense but most people in football are out of the game by then which is why I'm choosing that number for myself) so there won't be many more opportunities to make this point. Don't let any decent new owners down.
  14. He can covert to the Roman Catholic Church and be baptised by the Holy Father, himself, but I have seen enough already!
  15. I'll paraphrase, we're all over the gaff with a budget of around £0 to spend.
  16. have a feeling it will be Cashin rather than Pratt, but I agree with resting some
  17. Not sure if it is widely known, but if anyone is interested, Macclesfield play Palace tomorrow lunchtime, live on BBC1, which may feature Adam Wharton against James Edmondson, who is on loan at Macclesfield from Rovers
  18. Ellie Youan 8 goals in 50 games in the SPL crikey
  19. It’s been perfect timing to not have a midweek game this week and then this on Sunday. A mix of the standard staters and some fringe players for me. Toth, O’Riordan, Atcheson and Pratt definitely should start but give Ohashi, Cantwell and Baradji a rest and have them on the bench.
  20. Today
  21. surely wont be out for a week or so, someone has to edit the minutes first 😉
  22. Well he speaks the executive lingo. Mind you that didn’t help Gueye.
  23. I see. So, last minute, then 'it got confirmed so late there wasn't time to scour the continent'
  24. Is there and notes or quotes from last night? Or anyone know where to find them?
