  2. £30 for the 30 year anniversary wasn't it? https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/may/21/season-ticket-prices-reduced-for-2024-25/ But yes hardly a reduction that was going to move the needle. Thick as mince they are.
  3. would you mind expanding on the investigation, has reached the adjudicating phase? When is this, what dies it mean and what is the anticipated outcome? Sorry, if I am asking too much, as I know you have spent a lot of time already on this.
  4. Apparently Tavares is out for a month...What a start!
  5. And if we'd scored more and been capable of scoring more we'd have nicked a few more points and been in the play offs.
  6. Maybe things will change now the investigation has reached the adjudicating phase - or maybe this is something else which will drag on and on and on* * The investigation itself started in 2021…
  7. Could you confirm what type of buyers enquired as mentioned by Mike in his speech? Were they individuals, corporates or consortiums?
  8. So it will inevitably drag on and on for a year or two yet by which time - soon - we are out of players to sell to make any dent in the running costs. IF this carries on relegation is nailed on unless they bite the bullet and meet running costs AND court obligations and costs, plus the 20% money transfer fees ! I suspect the club (i.e Suhail) know this and this is why the stall is being set out and the type of guy they seem to be seeking come in for Waggot and run it on the breadline whereas he kept it just above that. Again the only real solution for the betterment of the club is sell it or at least seek investment from people who can do so.
  9. Here is a video of last nights AGM for those interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1ZIZ7Xgick

  11. Get your mind out the gutter 😁😁
  12. As I’ve nothing better to do 😁, I’ve had another read of the court order dated 23/6/2023 which sets out Venkys’ argument… They appear to be saying (because of the timing of their investment) the 2004 FEMA Regulations are relevant (not the 2022 ones). Under the 2004 Regs they’d need permission (due to the investigation) from the bank to send funds - something the bank had been happy to provide. Under the 2022 Regs they need permission from the Directorate of Enforcement - something the DoE are unwilling to give. This argument is yet to be fully considered in court… What has happened is - the £3.54 million being approved as an interim measure + A series of separate applications either requesting permission to send further funds or to vary the conditions required to do so. An absolute shitload of adjournments.
  13. Not a single point secured against promoted teams away from Ewood last season. I think that I am right in saying, not a single point from the last twelve away fixtures (36 points) against promoted teams over the last 4 seasons !!!! This is where our play offs dreams have been routinely killed and it needs to be highlighted.
  14. No way we’re paying 2/3million up front but I don’t see the problem in not if we get the player in. If they don’t play prem/champ ever that automatically means they are unproven he’s an international (albeit lesser country) with Europa league and conference league experience and going by interest from other clubs he would be a solid option
  15. First game of last season was against newly promoted Derby 😉. It doesn't really matter who it is but from a personal preference it would be one of the longer distance away games.
  16. No that wasn’t the point at all that’s a separate issue entirely I agree about failed windows and letting players contracts run down etc but to say attacking wise we didn’t resolve that but yet had a better season as Iv stated was/is irrelevant
  17. Mind you Australia's batters are as weak as I can ever remember. Their strength is in their bowling.
  18. …it was twenty pounds.
  19. Are these from last night? Thought Miller had resigned?
  20. Delap who would have in the squad if he hadn't moved to Chelsea. Jay Stansfield was excellent against Spain the other day. Big fan of his and he will do at Birmingham this coming season. Only 2 strikers in squad
  21. I highlighted 5 games which we lost to teams in bottom half which we should have taken something from. very different point from yours.
  22. I wonder if they will play in skins?
  23. I think the way the club is run sort of makes regular criticism the natural course of action. But like you, I said I didnt want Forshaw to sign a contract. Difference being, now he has I am not going out of my way to defend the decision. Because again like you, I disagreed with it. Some of those 7 goals that arent a big deal would have come in handy in those games. Glad you agree.
  24. I dont see why you are so bothered about it. More issues going on here. Not losing to Derby or Stoke or Swansea or Hull would have been good enough also You don't have to criticise every decision your Club does but you do every day.

  26. These transfer targets are weird and there's something I'm just not grasping. We're looking at a 27 year old unproven CB from a shit league for 2-3 million? What I'm guessing is its another Tavares type approach where we've likely offered about 800k upfront with the rest heavily dependent on add-ons. I'm not buying that we're spending this much up front for any of our targets. As much as Gestede will probably try to dress it up that way.
  27. Well I didn’t know that, but what I do know is the Lancashire league was once seen as the place to play cricket, hence why all the players above came over. Who did you follow in those days Jim? East Lancs?
