  1. Past hour
  2. Just embarrassing when we have people like that at the game
  3. Our football club is the pits, the absolute pits. Fucking state of us under these clowns. Embarrassing.
  4. I still genuinely believe that we're all collectively paying the price for that snowball.
  5. The club pleads for fans to cough up at increasing prices. Making a play of being together. They happily squeeze your money and time out of the fans, but the bare minimum , to ensure fixtures can be completed, they wont do. Its contempt, disinterest, not giving a toss. But they expect you to cough up, turn up and back the boys, without them having any intention of making sure that we can play in heavy rain, their side of the bargain is not being kept up (thats before the other lack of anything, cleaning stands, weeding, renewing contracts etc). Sod the fans who travel miles and give uo ther Saturday, sod them, who cares, we'll just charge them again. The board have contempt The players complain about the home fans The manager moans about the home support (lack of) Even the weather hates us. This club is broken. Please let us go, we are past withering on the vine. Its not about results, just want them to care.
  6. Definitely down to lack of recent maintenance Hasta but there is no doubt the problem has always existed.I remember my dad talking about how quickly the Ewood pitch would turn into a muddy quagmire in the 50/60s era.
  7. There's absolutely no point in protesting at this moment in time. They're doing such a bad job all we have to do is let them fail on their own. As I had hoped for, a game cannot be completed at Ewood Park. That's bringing the spotlight in their direction and they've managed to do this entirely on their own.
  8. Venkys- putting the infrastructure back 60 years
  9. But we had no postponement in a game fter kick off for god knows how many years and we've now had 2 in 2 months. Today was heavy but it wasn't biblical.
  10. It's striking how many people (myself included) are now advocating for a points deduction and/or fine in response to how poorly the club is run. I'd bite your hand off for a 50% increase in the chance of us being relegated if the wider media picked this up in the same way the Owls' troubles have been. Fuck Venkys and by and large, everyone down to and including VI.
  11. Just because it may have happened nearly 60 years ago doesn't make it acceptable or "just one of those things" in this day and age with the technology available Im afraid.
  12. I think there has historically always been a problem with the Ewood pitch and the surrounding water table level. The Ground literally sits in a trough of a small surrounding Valley. Remember the Old Riverside Stand had to be demolished due to the Foundations literally having rotted away!.
  13. Yeah the river hasn’t moved, the pitch hasn’t moved - yet it’s 3 games abandoned in 12 months or so, but I’m struggling to remember too many in the 20+ years prior It’s negligence and incompetence that has led to this
  14. Did see you today Ian but you were in full swing convo by the coffee shall say hello next time 👍🏻😊
  15. I hope it's off. I just can't be arsed. it's utterly dispiriting. I know the conditions were difficult for the players but the standard of football was pitiful. And Ipswich were terrible too. But if we can't beat Wednesday twice we ought to be relegated. I despair.
  16. Yea, how else we gonna fund all the work that needs undertaking
  17. Weather is showing a bit of rain tomorrow afternoon, nothing on Monday, then rain until 11am Tuesday morning with it remaining clear for the rest of the day. Tuesdays game will be fine, if it was 3 days of non stop rain I would agree.
  18. Harold Varner was there today, saw him talking in fanzone before the game. Please buy us Harold get so.e of your pals to invest please 🙏
  19. The Oxford game must be in doubt, three days of rain expected. What a situation this is.
  20. The Miracles - Shop Around
  21. Well its a bit of a coincidence it's 2 teams with good followings it's happened against, they'll probably bring half the amount to the rearranged one in a Tuesday night but yes it's surely extra money....
  22. There's probably a few kids in Sheffield getting a couple less Christmas presents because their dad pissed money away on a wasted trip to Blackburn. Genuinely feel for them. I know fans of various teams and they list Ewood as one of their top away days, I suspect opinions are fast changing.
