  1. Past hour
  2. it don`t matter,we are playing a bunch of amateurs who would struggle against euxton villa, there should be pre qualifying for teams of this standard
  3. It's a 4-2-3-1. But I find the inclusion of Jordan Henderson the most baffling aspect.
  4. What formation are England playing today? - I’ve looked at the selection and can’t work it out (not that I’ve tried that hard 😁😁)
  5. I’m really surprised we’ve never simplified the badge on an away kit other than going monochrome, it’s so easy to have the red rose by itself and look good like some third party sites did
  6. At least Boycott kept the scoreboard ticking over.
  7. All our kits should proudly bare some sort of recognition of the event chaddy...why would anyone object?
  8. I think there is a clue in the marketing material…one badge for each kit. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Maltese Cross is on the 150th kit. The 1970’s red rose, the town crest & the classic Rovers badge being the others…
  9. And then tells us to judge after 10 games, and then that any players who haven't been totally atrocious are good enough. Then says the next window will fix it and cycles through the exact same pattern in January.
  10. Today
  11. why would the training kit have any link to the 150 years anniversary We had a chance to voted for the kits we wanted and lets see what they have gone for when release I agree we should have new club crest for the season.
  12. Bit of a slow start to reach the 100 on the board. Reminds me of watching Boycott at the crease in a five day test at Trent Bridge. Solid but unspectacular.
  13. Spurs players all singings Ange's praises and saying what a great man he was https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/35301867/spurs-player-revolt-ange-postecoglou-sacking/ Tottenham face player revolt threat after Ange Postecoglou sacking
  14. Our beautiful Lancashire Rose Badge needs no change but absolutely spot on with the 150th year Ribbon..a nice touch. If only real fans ran our Club.
  15. Cooper has turned down/not interested in Boro job Rev Middlesbrough dealt blow as Steve Cooper stance revealed, new candidates emerge for manager role Dave Challinor has done an amazing job at Stockport and he deserves to be bigger club.
  16. Most deals are done after July 1st so players can claim their 1 month severance and come to a paying up agreement on their owed holiday pay, etc. Delaying signing till this date enables them to get a good signing/relocation fee in lieu of a months wages from their new club
  17. That yellow and black kit was fantastic, ASICS knocked out some fantastic kits, albeit I wasn’t a fan of the orange CIS kit and whilst I liked the luminous yellow and blue one as a kid I think it’d honking now. The kaleidoscope ASICS keeper shirts were brilliant, a piece of football folklore
  18. blimey, we are only on the 7th of June I would suggest you see my previous reply to you People said the same last summer and look at what happened. Far too people are going OTT so early. Have a chill pill guys
  19. here an article outlined when last season championship transfers were done and this time last year, there were nine deals confirmed in the Championship waiting to be officially processed when the window opened on June 14, including Stoke triggering a relegation release clause for Viktor Johansson - but then there were only 21 more before the start of July. Ninety per cent of all signings in the Championship were announced after July 1. In fact, 50 per cent of deals were done after August 1, nearly 40 per cent were done after the first game of the season on August 10 and 25 per cent in the last two days of the window. When Championship transfers get done as Stoke City wait for first signing - Stoke-on-Trent Live Yes I do think Ismael was abit unrealistic in expect to have so much done by pre season training restart/Spanish training camp. I think we get a couple done by the Spanish training camp. exactly my point. People think clubs do the business early buy 50% of transfers were done in August as the link above reported. Some clubs get a couple of signings in early but rarely do you get all your business done so early. and how many people actually do? not many by the sales figures after stage 1. What would drive sales is lower prices but new owners who want to rebuild the club, have proper coherent plan and invest in all areas of the club
  20. They'll be a lot more ambitious than we would be with whom they're going after. They've also been linked with Steve Cooper.
  21. Your last 4 points are valid ones though. I wouldn't criticise Chaddy or anyone else for making them.
  22. That's probably why they'll want as many mins as possible into as many as possible this coming season because we won't have much left the season after. Due to lack of continual steady investment going back to when the transfer door slammed on Mowbray and water treading became the aim we will end up needing serious money spent in all depts, defence/mid/fwds. It's all bound to catch up and come on top at some point it has with every other club that has gone down the same avenue, unless Rudy & Ismael turn out to be miracle workers.
  23. Yeah I've always thought if the 4 lads out of contract next summer Brittain, Travis, Tronstad, Hyam stick around then we'll be fairly competitive at this level next season i think. Couple of them leave though and replaced with inexperienced players then I think we could slide into huge trouble.
  24. If we don’t lose anyone under contract we will be ok. I don’t mean comfortably, it might be nervy, but I think we would have enough to stop up. If, for example, Travis and Brittain left I think we would have major problems,
  25. Will they? Wrexham and Birmingham aren't playing around. The three relegated teams will be stronger than us. We'll be in a serious relegation battle without a clear couple of no-hopers to prop us up.
