  1. Past hour
  2. To not even hit 20,000 for the first game of the season is complete failure. That's before you even factor in that there were 7,000 away fans.
  3. Exactly the crowd i knew it would be accounting for the price rises. I know of a few who said they were not paying that much for that game against a non local rival who were in league 1 last season. 'Kind of prices you might expect against Burnley or Liverpool in the FA cup' as one guy put it. To not even hit 20k when the opposition brings seven thousand shows where we are at now this season, some awful crowds on the horizon but no more than they deserve. Taking were probably up on the Derby game last season even though there were about 2k less home fans so they'll see it as a success. They don't give a #### the Luton Arsenal fan will be seeing a bonus in his £ eyeballs.
  4. I was looking at the ladies fixtures this morning. There is a home game at Clitheroe on 02/11/25. Why not make this the focus of a fans 150th celebration and fill the ground. Maybe get some media coverage and perhaps produce a 4,000 holes special edition. No one can argue about being negative and not getting behind the lads, it’s a win, win if we do this.
  5. It all about opinion and good for you chaddy but can you see the Wood for the Trees? The warning signs are clear and present for most of us.
  6. A weeks a long time in football.
  7. Just over a week ago you predicted us to finish 6th, no?.
  8. I couldn't understand the substitution of Hedges, I thought he was having (for him) a reasonable game. In other games he has played awful and has been kept on for the full game.
  9. The crowd was reported as 19000+. But Brum bought 7000. so we're down to 12000+for the first home League game of the season. And that will have included season ticket holders who didn't attend. Signs not good.
  10. We've all seen it before with sides. 'Unlucky' is a term often used to describe defeats at the outset of a relegation season. These defeats soon become 'deserved' and 'self inflicted', as confidence drops and a lack of quality shows. As it stands, with the squad we have, we're in the mire.
  11. They'll get 50,000 grand to pay scousers weekly dole money
  12. compensation is separate and additional to the solidarity payments laid out in my last post. I am pretty sure Liverpool released Travis in 2014 (rather than Rovers buying/poaching him) so there would not have been any compensation to be paid anyway. However solidarity payments are always applied to all transfers. They just tend to be such low numbers (unless the fee is mega millions) that they are often not reported on
  13. We don't know that for sure but had Lee Williamson been playing then that second goal definitely doesn't happen 🤣
  14. VI says that bad game management was to blame for the defeat yesterday. The person that should have most influence on game management is the manager.
  15. He was heading it back across goal basically but ur right maybe a competent header of the ball would have done better
  16. To be honest I think he trying to deflect the blame but at the end of the day he can blame who he wants, he is the accountable one.
  17. Karbo's was a great chance for someone confident heading the ball. It was a relative free header well inside the box. Gueye's header should have broke the net but it was a good save from the keeper. If Hyamn leaves the header and allow Miller coming from a different angle to head that would have a great chance as well rather than header across goal to no one.
  18. You're right! According to Ismael some of the staff will have to take responsibility as well. Anyone except himself, maybe? I find this 'throwing everyone under the bus' approach of his lately quite disturbing. JDT had earned his right to call out mistakes done by staff due to that he had made Rovers perform. Ismael has done nothing of the sort.
  19. Ah the same one from pre season. Stewards ask you to put it awaw-?
  20. If that's true this club is unofficially in self administered admin.
  21. Agree but an experienced centre half should know what to do in the circumstances. Under no circumstances should he allow their player to break with the ball. If ever there was a case of taking a yellow for team it was then and showed why he is no longer captain.
  22. If parson is telling chaddy to tone it down then you know chaddy is talking shite
