  1. Past hour
  2. Given our current position, what the fuck could we even offer in 'add ons'? Especially to bridge a 3.5m difference in valuation 🤣 I mean a team up the top end of the table can stick a promotion wedge in there but that's obviously not an option. He's not going to get an England call up. Probably leave appearances/goals and potentially a sell on clause if he's any good. Never happening.
  3. Between last Friday and mid February, 11 players are due to become available - 4 yesterday. The youngsters have all given good accounts of themselves which means Ismael will have 28 genuine contenders for selection or thereabouts assuming the pitch/lurgy/injury/transfers don't reduce the fit squad Ismael will have a selection headache, formation choices and absolutely no excuse.
  4. From a Rovers TV perspective, the ground was visibly emptier than at any other point this season and the Rovers TV commentators were talking about the boycott. There was a younger person sat next to Gestede in the Pasha row in the directors' row. Anyone know who it was?
  5. Agent provocateur I think. You're best ignored.
  6. Must be a slow news day for Nixon. Not a chance that is happening.
  7. 1. Who buys football clubs? Ask fans of Wrexham, Birmingham, Reading, Bolton, Wigan etc 2. You dont go into Admin because you breach FFP - you go into Admin when you stop funding it through choice or via the bank if you’ve mortgaged the club to the hilt 3. Venky’s sacked Allardyce because he wouldn’t kowtow to certain “advisors” 4. If Suhail carries on cutting costs, what we will have is the equivalent of “some chancer with 1% of Venky’s wealth who downsizes us to League One (or lower)
  8. I agree although will also point out, its difficult to pick out the one forward in the box who is hiding between the defenders.
  9. Falls right into Venkys hands doesn't it..divide and conquer.
  10. I ended up going. I know many on here will call me names but I had to go for family reasons. Anyway here is the truth. It was noticeable before the game behind the BBE that there were many absentees. The BBE looked like it had gaps where previous games there werent. Riverside looked like there werent many boycotting. JW also looked less full. The fact that is because the ground looks empty at the best of times in modern times only those who go every game could tell there was a protest.
  11. Said this many times and he's nowhere near a prem player. Very one dimensional BUT we've missed him because for all the wayward balls there's more useful ones than we've been putting in recent weeks....
  12. Like everything in society it seems people have to pick polar opposites, or be categorised in such a manner. so now there seems to be a position where division is turning attention away from the owners (and representatives) and energies being focussed on falling out with each other.
  13. Yep, but just for clarification... 1, Football results aren't the priority here. 2, Ismael is doing exactly what this regime wants of him.
  14. Looks like those who boycotted are saying it was noticeable and a success, and those who didn't boycott are saying it was barely noticeable and looked like a normal crowd. Truth is it was probably somewhere in the middle, not a roaring success but not a total failure either. The constant sniping from both sets of fans on the divide though is becoming very tiring.
  15. Nixon news is about the Barnsley lad - In what world does he come to ewood? Nonsense story.
  16. Thought Alebiosu looked good when he came on, but once again his no brain final ball led a great chance run away. Far too many times that's happened, and for me is why he will struggle if he does move to the premiership.
  17. Today
  18. I think even if Leicester get deducted 10 points, I would fancy them to get more points than us over 18 games until the end of the season. I dont see either Portsmouth or Norwich winning over the next couple of days though. I thought Oxford were done for but a great result yesterday. 2 from Oxford, Portsmouth, Rovers & Charlton would be my guess, and I think it will go to the wire.
  19. The manager (and club presumably) think the season will last forever. "There are still 20 games, 60 points to play for" "There are still 19 games, 57 points to play for" "There are still 18 games, 54 points to play for" And yet, games keep passing us by without a win.
  20. And there you go,an apologist all the way.You deserve everything that Venkys have done to this Club.Your choice as the Club falls apart. https://roversfans.com/index.php?threads/venkys-is-the-proverbial-about-to-hit-the-fan.1522/page-32 Not one of them who decided to post on here offered any alternative solution to our problems....empty vessels make the most noise.
  21. He’s played with a lot of intent this season. I just hope him and Tronstad can stay fit. As for LWB it’s obvious that we’re going to sign Hedges for another season and that they won’t sign another backup unless de Neve is sold. I for one hope we’re not too locked in the 3-5-2 system but play whatever formation ensures we field our best eleven on the day. Our squad lacks depth and we have to avoid playing our reserves out of position if we can.
  22. Genuinely starting to think it's spite. That rich they can just say fk that lot. Alot of India is poor, I've seen them at all these parties etc leaving in the Rolls Royce etc I bet they feel like Kings over there. Is that how they are looking at us, like we are peasants too and just able to forget about us?
  23. Did he not go on to say, it was a good job it was though, as Watford would have won on a good pitch?
  24. Forshaw had no problem with the pitch for 60 mins, played like prime Thiago.
  25. One last thing that I’m going to say on this subject is that all I want as a supporter is to have a well run club and owners that care. I appreciate that other supporters will have a different view.
