  5. I called penalty at the time on Gudjonson's first half chance that hit the post. I've seen the replay since and it's definitely a push from behind, otherwise it was a tap in. For me, should have been a penalty and red card.
  6. He's been in charge for just over 9 months - played 15 home games and won 3. I missed the Millwall game after the shite run of performances beforehand (first time in 30+ years I've chosen not to attend a home game) and was on holiday for the Southampton game. I've seen them win once at home under this manager and last Friday away at North End. 2 live wins in 9 months ffs. No doubt, he is contributing big time to low home attendances regardless who put him in the job. Before last night he needed to win 4 out of these 5 home games over the next 3 week period to change opinions - big pressure next Tuesday against Ipswich now.
  7. Absolutely. It feels like a hammering is on route and I suspect this fixture will be it. 3-0 Wrexham.
  8. And I would rather save my money, than fund the running by the incumbents.
  9. We are being run as if in admin without actually being put in admin, for now. If they don't return to the previous funding levels and nobody turns into a 10 million quid player pretty soon then more shit will hit the fan. More downgrading.
  10. A terrible first half as a result of totally losing our midfield battle. Miller and McLaughlin content to pass sideways endlessly, it was unbelievably frustrating to watch. Second half we started playing more forward balls and getting the wingbacks more into play which got us forward more and created chances. it was a tight game and it was obvious that the first team to score would go on to win it. Unfortunately Gudjohnsen had two really good chances where he should have scored but didn’t. If he had I’m sure it would have given us the confidence boost and we would have gone on to win it. It’s all about fine margins and a poor bit of play by De Neve gave QPR a lead to hold on to. I’m worried about the next few games without Tronstad because we haven’t got the power in midfield to cause the opposition problems.
  11. If you do bring a friend, don’t be surprised if it’s an ex-friend after 90 minutes.
  12. We have, there’s 13,000 fans not attending due to Venky’s. The 8,000 left will turn up no matter what.
  13. Anything is possible, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he doesn't play again.. Look at the Cantwell and Pickering situation..
  14. I don't think any organisation will be necessary, many people just won't buy one based on this season and the state of the Club generally,
  15. I’ve had a look at the few seasons before too and this does seem to be the norm. Surprised me too tbf.
  16. We got a good response to the Derby game and we lost.
  17. It was a bit unusual last season though with Leeds and Burnley both amassing 100 points and Sheff U 90. 🙂
  18. I certainly don't want or need your pity. I'd rather go and watch us lose than throw the towel in.
  19. Nick Drake - One of These Things First
  20. Quite simply, it’s not as easy as putting on school buses.
  21. They really do just wing it day by day down there.
  22. If a family or group of 3 want to go, do they need 3 season ticket holder mates? Just hassle. Why not just make it a tenner. Oh yeah, that would stop us taking £23 off the Ipswich fans. Also, if you are a committed rovers fan who attended the original game for full price (£30), then took up the offer of a half price ticket for this (£12.50), you still pay more than someone who now uses this offer pays?
  23. When a football club runs itself like a "business" (driving down costs and quality) don't be surprised when the "customers" vote with their feet. It is a big old world out there, if people have had enough of going to Ewood I wouldn't criticise them one bit. I'd actually applaud them for hanging around so long.
  24. If Tronstadt didn’t play again this season we would go down easily. It’s as bad a midfield as I’ve ever seen without him.
  25. We've been decent though for most parts of our games excluding the obvious shite performances we haven't been terrible. The standard of games in the championship this season has been somewhat lacking in quality up and down the table, we've shown we can play but just so damn inconsistent no two games the same effort
  26. The top three managed this last season, Sunderland were next best with 33.
