  1. Past hour
  2. Is this Gestede you're referring to? Im starting to worry about you a bit Parson. As for JR - loved him as a player here but the role he's going to be filling appears to be completely surplus to requirements currently.
  3. Imo Waggot was a bit dodgy in that classic slippery football suited kind of way and he himself was over promoted ending up as CEO here. However he had a set way of working and stuck to it and i think that has played a huge role in holding this club back and simply refusing to step up a gear or take the odd calculated gamble. That being said though he also kept it competitive, steady and in business whilst at least being an official challenger to the pillock in the shadows preventing him from doing everything as he pleased. So now i think we can wave goodbye to calm waters and hello to sink or swim, it'll either click and somehow work well or it'll go spectacularly wrong.
  4. Could only happen at Rovers that we suddenly appoint a full time loans manager when we currently have barely anyone in or out on loan and the Head Coach himself has professed not to be a fan of the Loan System.
  5. You're obsessed with this notion. Early days still, but it might possibly be the case that this is possibly one season too far for Batth. If it is who cares? the only thing that matters from our point of view is that he was excellent for us last year - a lot better than Hyam was - end of. Hyam has also struggled badly in the past alongside other partners, primarily Carter. I couldn't really give a shiney shite how either of them do for their new Clubs tbh, they're not our players any more.
  6. I now believe that Rudy is a bigger twat than Waggott. A remarkable achievement for Rudy.
  7. Indeed not. "Just clip its' horns and wipe its' arse!"
  8. Well not really, it suggests it was Hyam making Batth look good rather than the other way round
  9. I don't post on twitter/x, I just saw it under an Elliott Jackson post, however, you (or anyone else who fancies doing so) are more than welcome to take my place πŸ™‚
  10. I've thought for a while these proceedings were fairly irrelevant from our point of view and it only affected how much it was costing the owners to fund us. However with the last minute sale of Hyam and no replacement, Im wondering just how near the knuckle we actually are in terms of immediate cash flow etc. The Hyam move went through so quickly and unexpectedly that it seems to me as though we must have been touting him about to Clubs in the last 48 -72 hours of the window desperately trying to shift him, and got a bite from Wrexham.
  11. Aye. There's nothing like outright lying to try and prove a 'point'. I do hope you have pulled him up on it on X?
  12. Oh boo hoo. One of their longest PL stretches in decades, team full of internationals, 60,000 gates every week and recently won a European trophy 🎻
  13. Sorry, I was working while posting. I didn't manage to hide the post before anyone picked it up. Absolutely wrongdoing from my side. My apologies.
  14. Today
  15. Have we ever done anything similar? https://whuisc.com/letter-of-no-confidence-in-the-board.html
  16. I think that says more about how our collective standards have slipped.
  17. Some people are so desperate to look on the positive side of everything, that they just make up their own facts TGH must have really impressed Christian in those 46 minutes that he played against Rovers across 3 separate appearances in his career to date (only 15 of those minutes were for West Brom) https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/taylor-gardner-hickman/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/546944/plus/0?saison=&verein=&liga=2&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=
  18. If ever a post showed you up for happy-clapping trolling it's that one. You know what you have put up is incorrect. Otherwise, please explain why the hell our club is selling Hyam, Travis, Brittain, Buckley and JRC for just €2.03m combined. At least Chaddy has had the sense to go into self-imposed exile for a bit rather than try to justify this window.
  19. The posts coming out of Derby would suggest it's Batth missing Hyam rather than the other way round.
  20. Yep,looks like the novice has been given Carte Blanche to do what he wants...so dangerous its untrue. We are on a hiding to nothing.
  21. Don't feel this got enough credit, very subtle
  22. Andy Bayes: "For a team that ended last season just outside of the play-off spots, the hope from the fanbase was to make some key additions over the summer to supplement what they already had could see another realistic top-six push." ...We've been basically stripped bare instead.I hate these b'stards killing our Club with a passion. Going for 1-1 at best here, its like we are starting with a new side(all be it weaker)and its going to take time to gel.
  23. ...and his head in a polythene bag...
  24. I'd much rather see a net spend ranking.
  25. I don't think we can - we have three CBs (McLoughlin, Carter, Wharton) and two 'full backs that can play there' (Miller, Pickering). If we're training and drilling three at the back and there's an injury or suspension, we're immediately playing a player out of position.
  26. It's a big assumption. Spent practically his whole career in the Midlands or further south.
  27. I'm not confident saying we've drastically regressed until I've seen the players actually play.
