  1. Past hour
  2. Suggest to me the drainage pipes are blocked.
  3. I think ALL Rovers fans would welcome an FA investigation. Enough is Enough.
  4. Today there were 44 scheduled professional league matches in England across the four divisions. Two were abandoned. Charlton because of a spectator illness and ONE for a waterlogged pitch. For that club this is the second home fixture abandonment due to a waterlogged pitch. Elsewhere no other Prem/Championship/League2 match in England has been abandoned due to waterlogging THIS SEASON (Bolton's was down to a lights failure). Mr Gestede, please talk your way out of that. "We didn't think there was a problem" - then you're useless and you're fired. "The owners won't fund us" - they're worse than useless - they're fired. "We couldn't generate funds on our own" - Ahem, Wharton, Szmodics, the bus load of players that turned up in Derby and Wrexham - you're fired. Oh, you can't be arsed doing the boring day to day stuff like fixing fax machine, stitching and draining the pitch, cleaning and repairing the stadium - do us a favour, go away. PLEASE, and take that Pasha bloke with you.
  5. Stolen from someone on twitter: It's nearly Christmas and Rovers have had more home games abandoned than home wins.
  6. Absolutely, to gain long term you need to suffer short term (look at Wednesday) boycotted then weeks later chansiri is gone and the future is bright
  7. So that part that was due to be fitted the week of the first Ipswich game has been sorted now right Lindsay?
  8. I'm glad. Really glad. It's embarrassing, but this kind of thing is needed to bring the spotlight on to the issues here. The bigger picture and aim is getting the club out of this lot's clutches. I hate the regime, not my club. Understand this, Rudy. This is a 15 year problem. You and Yasir are not the problem, for me. This isn't about either of you. This club does not recover nor succeed, until Pasha and Venky's have gone. The sporting media needs to ask a simple question tonight: "Why were Blackburn Rovers able to play in torrential rain at Ewood Park for many years during the Premier League era, without a problem, but now have to call games off?". Utterly embarrassing, but a fitting summary of this 15 year circus.
  9. At what point do we begin protests? I have had enough of them, we’ve seen all quality and experience booted out the door and failure to manage the pitch, disgraceful and Amateur club we have become and it isn’t what Jack Walker would be proud of. VENKYS OUT!
  10. It will be someone else’s fault. Blame the fans, blame God, but never a hands up and an apology for getting things badly wrong.
  11. There's now a further factor to add to this: the likelihood the game will actually complete, or instead be abandoned and be a complete waste of time. Does anyone know if those who bought tickets for the first Ipswich game got their money refunded?
  12. If anyone is stuck for football to watch, Accy are now into minute 110 of their fixture under the 'relentless' weather
  13. Ok heavy rain and streets cant take it but a football ground in championship should be able to. Fuming!! Fine the owners. We did see venkys capital investments but those rollers did nothing. Pathetic. Tuesdays game must be off no way ground will recover with more continuous rain.
  14. Andy Bayes filming the pitch saying "the weather isn’t relenting here" FFS you could film my back garden saying the same but my back garden isn’t a professional sports arena. Are these people on the payroll!?!
  15. I’ve been thinking about this if we were to do as Rochdale are doing, probably Wigan or Blackpool we have the least amount of rivalry with locally? Potentially use Salford City Red’s ground given they’ve gone bump, its owners would be happy for the income.
  16. Absolutely shameful and embarassing. All comes back to the owners not funding that full pitch revamp. Dont allow for or get sucked in by the nonsense. Referees, opppsition managers, rainfall miles higher specifically in Blackburn, how its not our fault. It is 100% our fault. Its on the owners. Last time they were struggling to find precedent on how to finish the game. This time, we have some from the same Championship ground a couple of months ago.
  17. Pune. No pune intended. It would be too pune-itive to contemplate anything as Puney as that.
  18. Another game called off then. We really do have negligent owners.
  19. Surely they can't expect everyone just to pay again, especially as there will be no guarantee that the replacement fixture will be completed.
