  1. Past hour
  2. Depends on the situation. I’m not going to start shouting back across a couple of rows to correct them, nor do I want to spend 10 minutes during a game trying to outline all of the Venkys wrongs they don’t know about. But I heard it said (about the chants / pitch) in the pub after the Sheff Wednesday game and I had a long conversation chatting to two lads. They didn’t know half of the issues, but I also felt like they didn’t believe it either as I couldn’t really prove much on the spot.
  3. If you have TNT Sports in Sky, then Discovery Plus should be free. I've spent the last 24 hours trying to 'activate' my Discovery subscription but keep getting the error message I posted previously. For TNT customers on Sky, you can in theory access the broadcast on TNT 7 (!) via Red Button on any TNT sport channel, but this failed to work yesterday, leading to high levels of frustration and anger on my part. Rumour has it, it can be accessed via Amazon Prime TV app, I'll try this later. If not I'll pop a twig in my ear, press my belly button and wink repeatedly till it comes on, as this appears the only remaining option.
  4. There are too many streaming services these days.
  5. Depressing that we're likely losing Toth but Pears will likely remain forever.
  6. Rovers in being useless shocker.
  7. How do you respond to those around you just out of interest? Or how do others respond if they're say out of range? I think it's one of the more frustrating moments seeing some around you mocking or jesting but unaware of the current situation we find ourselves in
  8. Sunday update from Nicko…we are supposedly making a profit on Gueye and we have money to spend on attackers. The issue seemingly is that we are reluctant to pay them.
  9. Or this one at Stanley a few years ago
  10. Yep, to go back to my 4 point breakdown of the remaining match going fans, there is still a sizeable number in 3), i.e benevolent owners who’d we be bust without.
  11. Today
  12. If people choose not to boycott a single game with the Watford game, I doubt the same people would protest in the ground. For example turn their backs for 5 minutes, show red cards etc.. Any protest inside the ground will occur next to people who think it’s stupid / pointless and many people will naturally be less confrontational . Therefore an in ground protest as well on the 24th would be spun as “most people are happy”, as the majority who would take part won’t be in the ground. The other point is @Dreams of 1995 says “I am of the opinion that all supporters have the same opinion - that the Venkys have been nothing short of a disaster for Blackburn Rovers.”, but we have to accept he is wrong. Not on the opinion, which I agree with, but there is a significant portion of attending adults who do not think they are doing that bad a job. For the abandoned games, a group around me were laughing at the Venkys out chants, saying Venkys cant control the weather whilst being unaware of the lack of investment in the pitch. Those people don’t read sites like this or social media. They won’t be aware of Brockhall, FF minutes, payday loans from some guy in Bolton, court cases in India etc.. They just think they put the money in and the managers fail.
  13. Leave it with me…
  14. Am I right in thinking that this is audio only on the Rovers site today? no matter where in the world I may find myself later? Edit - apparently not, seems that viewers in Italy (not sure where else) will be able to stream it,, but Hull seem to think its not going to be available on any clubs website If I was going to place a bet, I know which club I would be backing to have given the right information
  15. Similar logic would keep you away from Ewood forever. Hull is a great place and worthy of a weekend visit if you like free museums, a vibrant music scene, decent restaurants and great pubs with good beer. Probably not this weekend though as it is cold, icy and horrible today.
  16. Paul Weller - Foot Of the Mountain
  17. Wasn't there a world cup match that a British ref blew-up for half time as one team scored from a corner ? It was a while ago.
  18. We've got TNT with Virgin Media but it would appear to access Discovery + Id have to enter into a 12 month contract at £24.95 p.m. So that'll be a hard pass from me.
  19. I can't understand why people are constantly talking as if "the boycott" is the be all and end all and only form of protest which will take place For the Watford game the planned form of protest is a boycott. I can't see anything whatsoever wrong with that at all. For the game after that I would hope the prescribed form of protest is something different and the same again for the one after that and so on and so on.
  20. That's not half of the fanbase, it's a quarter at the most. The majority have washed their hands of this ridiculous charade many years ago.
  21. I've always understood that you're not supposed to end a half whilst a team is actively engaged in an attack. Noticed how you never see a fulltime whistle blown when somebody is about to strike the ball? I don't know if it's a written rule or an unwritten one, but when I was a kid I was told it was a rule.
  22. Clearly shouldn't have been played in this one. As I said before the game there is no way I would have done anything other than rested him. And it seems I was justified in that as he apparently played shit, and they lost anyway.
