  1. Past hour
  2. We will be handed our arses on this one. Robins V Ismael, no contest and I could formulate a plan to beat Rovers myself right now, with the players Stoke will have at their disposal, irrespective of our line up. At least a 2 goal defeat and I think the crowd will turn.
  3. At least you have been clear in your response regarding Ismael. They arent knee jerk reactions, certainly on the manager whose record of 6 wins, 3 draws and 11 losses is really poor. What have you seen that makes you think he is the man to take us forward? Obviously he isnt the main problem, we have a squad massively downgraded and full of players that clearly arent good enough, having lost a number of key players. Kargbo, De Neve, Henriksson, Tavares, an AWOL Baradji, perhaps Miller and Gudjohnsen, we have totally blown apart a good defence and still struggle to score goals. It all comes from the owners and then idiots like Suhail, Gestede and Owen running the club on their behalf. Would you agree that all 3 need to go?
  4. Does it? I didn’t know that.
  5. You’ve just predicted us to beat Stoke 2-1 on Saturday?? We need to score two goals for your prediction! He has no quality whatsoever. Downgrade on Markandy and that says it all. The only asset Kargbo has is pace, yet he jogged back watching last night. If he had used his one asset he could have gone some way to preventing that goal. He can’t cross, shoot, tackle. Pointless signing.
  6. It's now a lethal combination, of the dross we have signed, together with a poor manager. Given the start Ismael had with last years squad, I had made my mind up early about him, but he did at least turn that around. The chances of him turning this around now are pretty remote, hence the return of W2 D0 and lost 6 counting the league cup loss that is, which does count in my book.
  7. Doesn't make much difference, but he has two assists rather than one. One against Plymouth at Ewood for Dolan last season, and one against Hull for Hedges this season. A rubbish footballer who's main asset is meant to be his pace. He has looked slower than me this season.
  8. He would score plenty because he’s good enough. Ours don’t score because they’re not.
  9. @chaddyrovers the reaction isn't after 2 defeats, it's after 5 defeats in 7 games in the league, with a terrifying amount at home. Including last season it's 10 losses, 6 wins and 3 draws.
  10. We don't talk about Kargbo, no, no, no, We don't talk about Kargbo! Tough start to his Rovers career for the Sierra Leonean. 6 starts, 10 substitute appearances. zero goals, two assists. Confidence in the gutter, another costly mistake last night. Is he Semir Telalovic 2.0?
  11. Well you've just summed it up nicely! Why the optimism then?
  12. It was clear penalty all day long Its comments on the game not deflection of blame like the ref was again appalling and where they find these refs is baffling. second half we started the half with higher tempo, quick passing and movement we lacked all first half. Yes Yes Not making any knee-jerk reactions after 2 defeat like many others or people who had vendetta(not you) against certain players signings here. Some signings have hit the ground running and some haven't. I felt sorry for Gudjohnsen yesterday cos don't created enough chances for him or have enough players looking to get forward around him. We could have Shearer up front and he would struggle to score in this team. Yes Gudjohnsen should have done better then he did with that chance. above the relegation places Kargbo has some qualities I like but then others that frustrated you like hell.
  13. It's not stats which tell us what sort of team we are---it's the League Table. And right now it tells us we are in deep trouble.
  14. Not a chance of us winning with that team. Where are the two goals coming from? It’s rinse & repeat from VI. He’ll just throw Kargbo & De Neve on after 60 for Miroshita & Hedges and Andri on for Ohashi. We need to go with Gudjohnsen despite his lacklustre start and hope he gets that first goal soon. Ohashi is not consistent in front of goal.
  15. We have conceded 2 or more goals in 6 of our last 7 games and scored more than 1 goal once in that stretch. I fully believe you're on the wind up.
  16. I'd argue he's as good as initial Brittain in his first season, in fact probably better but no way is he an upgrade on the peak Brittain who just left. If he can develop the same there's another good sale price in the making and that's all they care about to be honest.
  17. Thing is it's results that win you points and it all starts from defence as Eustace demonstrated and you can get away with low XG if you can defend the point or the goal you do get. That's gone out of the window again because mainly we've lost the 3 best defenders and just tried to plug the holes with no investment. We've been there before as well.
  18. Toth Alebiosu Miller Wharton Ribeiro Tronstad TGH Morishita Cantwell Hedges Ohashi Rovers 2-1
  19. 7/1 is a crazy price. We've scored 6 goals so far, with no sign of that improving by any decent measure any time soon. A paper thin squad, toxic behind the scenes and a clown for a manager. Id expect that price to shorten quite a bit leading up to Christmas.
  20. With or without injuries, that starting 11 and squad in general is league one (at best). I'd argue some of the dross we put out there isn't even that level, Kargbo can't actually play football, he's fucking abysmal. Don't even get me started on the likes of Tavares. Incredible how that guys a professional footballer.
  21. I presumed that Miroshita had picked up an injury yesterday to go off yesterday. He hadnt really got involved again but you can at least give him the ball without it bouncing off him like basically every other player bar Cantwell. Apaprently it was just a tactical decision to bring on Kargbo. A real masterstroke of a decision from our poor manager.
  22. It feels exactly like that season we nearly went down in terms of accumulating crap within a shallow squad. That season, we often had the likes of Ennis, Telalovic, Markanday etc on really poor benches and often didnt use all of our subs, or when we did they offered nothing. Now, its De Neve, Henriksson, Tavares, the invisible Baradji not even on the bench. Kargbo coming on and being appalling. Our starting 11 is poor but a subs bench has never been more important. Swansea really changed the game with their subs, used proactively and with one scoring the winner. That season, we had a few things in our favour compared to now. We had a buffer of points from under Tomasson, I think we were around 8th going into December. We obviously also had Szmodics scoring loads. And we didnt have the crap manager we have now.
  23. Today
  24. Sorry, I transposed the numbers, you are quite correct
  25. There is little doubt about that and I think his excuses and games of passing the buck, are simply to try to keep some fans onside and ensure, he at least has some people feeling sorry for him, even though the numbers seem to be dwindling.
