  2. I like Miyoshi as a player but the attack need some pace drive and goals so I'd rather a player with those attributes brought in rather than him. Baradji looks like he could have something but the fact he may need an operation and the fact he would be another with no experience of English football I'd be walking away from that and looking for a domestic replacement for Travis even if only a loan. It's ridiculous that we are into the season and 3 of our strongest 11 Travis ,Hyam and Tronstad could still all leave by deadline At the moment I'd be playing 3 at the back with wing backs as we have no quality out wide in the 3 behind the loan striker.
  3. Baradji is such a waste of a spot with his injury status that it will definitely be him coming in if Mafoumbi is off as predicted.
  4. I was thinking yesterday that Henriksson would be a great fit with Cantwell. Brain wise he had some neat passing and moves.
  5. One interesting thing about our squad construction is the contrast between the athletic profiles with no football brain and the football brains who have to try make it work. Cantwell is obviously a talented player but easily frustrated by those around him who can't play on same wavelength and make right run, or who screw up after he's made a play. Off Bradford game Tavares has that as well (yeah I know one game against L2/1 opp), and I think Ohashi too. We need a few more of that profile of player to make it work properly. Tyjon might be that in future; Henriksson maybe once he adapts, but adding Miyoshi would be a big addition I think to help link play, and still have Miller/Alebiosu bombing outside with athleticism. Shame the left side is a workman in Yuri/Pick and a Hedges like De Neve or Kargbo's pace without product.
  6. Baradji would be a concern if we're planning his operation now. What would be the actual point of signing him? Perhaps the idea of keeping him on tablets and arranging the opp till the very back end of this season. God knows but we need a CM and RW in through asap, both would be great.
  7. Dont get the hype for Baradji, he's maybe injured until Jan, nobody seems to actually know, and all people seem to base it on is a youtube compilatipn from Swiss relegation battle. Miyoshi would be a far better signing with Championship and Bundeslifa pedigree, wait that's why it'll be Baradji...
  8. Would say Baradgi over Miyoshi. Link was about 4 weeks ago and if anything was close they wouldnโ€™t of used him and waste that ESC status
  9. It's bonkers how differently people see the game.
  10. If someone was doing their job properly it'd be a first.
  11. Must be Beradji or Miyoshi coming in then.
  12. Hopefully, might mean we could get Miyoshi in finally, I can't bear watching Hedges on wing again. Though knowing us, we'll have just told him to bugger off like we did to Siggy; regardless of player it's a scummy way to operate, especially for a younger guy like Mafoumbi who seemed so excited to join last summer.
  13. If it's that price, someone isn't doing their job properly.
  14. Have they given a reason for the change from 11p.m. to 7p.m.? At least Suhail has a ready made excuse for various transfers falling through this time for the next FF Meeting. "As far as we were aware" the deadline was still 11p.m.!
  15. Our squad needed adding to last season. What position have we actually added to in this squad and not simply replaced outgoing players? It's another pathetic, underfunded transfer window from whoever's in charge. How is there only talk of needing one more incoming. It's terrifying stuff and shows a lack of ambition around the place. Is there a domestic player Rovers are willing to pay a reasonable fee for? In the mould of Brittain to Boro or Travis to Derby? What the hell is happening to the club. Suhail Pasha and Venky's have got to go!

  17. It certainly indicates a lack of high intensity football.
  18. No, I wasnโ€™t. I was just stating that there will be academy players in the matchday squad every fixture this season.
  19. Not the first time Rudy has refused to do something
  20. So in VI 's 14 competitive matches so far......... We've conceded the opening goal inside the first 20 mins 8 times. Of those eight, 4 of them were actually inside the first 10 mins. Out of those four where we conceded inside the first 10 mins, we actually conceded a second goal inside the opening 10 mins on 3 out of the 4 occasions!!! Surely these figures are completely unacceptable no matter how good or bad we think the players are or whatever level you happen to be playing at. They smack of a lack of organisation, lack of concentration from the first whistle and an unwillingness to put it all on the line for this manager.
  21. Canโ€™t see this as anything but a 3 (or more) - 0 drubbing. A draw would be a minor miracle
  22. Gueye has already did more for rovers than Leonard ever has the kid canโ€™t stay fit
