I'm gutted. She was only 71. I must admit that I saw her first in Home Alone, but the banana dance in Beetlejuice is so good. Rest in peace, dear. 😢
-
I honestly don't understand the logic that some fans deserve what has happened. What has any fan actually done which has caused the downfall of the club ?
-
I always keep an eye on the managers and coaches who did well with us - from Sparky, Souness, Eustace, etc. I’ll always be grateful for the good and better times. As for Eustace, fair play to him. He’s a hell of a lot better than the sack of **** Ismael we have to put up with.
-
Because he was shunted out because he possesses the one thing the hierarchy have never possessed in the last 15 years - ambition. And if it has to be pointed out indirectly by bringing him up to some of our bone headed fans who thought he was the devil incarnate then so be it - they have got the club they deserve.

Derby forward Ben Brereton Diaz speaking to BBC Radio Derby: "We had fun out there. It was a brilliant night - a great team effort and we're buzzing to travel that distance and put on a great team performance. "We're always positive going into games. We had a good week in training and we've always got that belief. "We were excited and knew a place in the top six was at stake if we won. You saw lads cramping up because we did a lot of running. "Everyone was doing their jobs and we played some really good football, scoring really good goals. you don’t have to have huge amounts of dosh. You do need players who want to play for you because they are motivated. Play off position for Derby. -

He's the perfect example of everything wrong with this football club. He is the proof that it is the owners that are the problem. Why wouldn't you be bothered that a capable, up and coming manager left a club in 6th place to join a club who were bottom of the league. Then 12 months later, the clubs have completely switched places? That's why people like me keep bringing him up, we're not obsessed with him, I've nothing against him, he seems a decent bloke and he's obviously a good manager. We bring him up because his last year and a half in football sums up the last decade and a half at Ewood Park. -
Don't really know why anyone gives a shit about him one way or the other. He's become an obsession with some people on both sides of the argument.
-
The perfect Venky master plan is coming to fruition. Our 150th anniversary plagued with failure and embarrassment, probably relegation to League One whilst the manager and players we needlessly forced out sit in the top 6. It isn't an accident, it isn't bad advice, it's unforgivable.
-
I have often thought fan vs fan will be the end of this club, up against billionaire owners. I stand by it.

Gestede struggling to sign a two goal a season striker whilst we're facing almost certain relegation, sums him, the owners, and the ever lowering standards of the club up at the same time. What a statement. -

Despise their fans for the way they took the piss. Given our circumstances with our owners you’d hope they’d feel a bit sorry for us!! Always said I wish John Eustace well. Thoroughly enjoyed that short period he was here. Despite all the shit behind the scenes he galvanised the players and fans alike. Club should have backed him no question. A lot of credit to Trav as well. When he was in the team here last season it clicked. Same happening there. -

Let’s face it we’re fucked. Whatever we get in will be pants, there’s no ambition, in the bottom three, and they won’t spend a sensible penny on any improvement. Hope, there is none. -

No, it's embarrassing. They should use their own eyes and brain (if they have one) and get angry with what has been happening right in front of their faces for 15 fucking years. Their behaviour was completely and utterly cretinous and embarrassing, and they deserve all the shit they get given for it. As the old saying goes, if you don't want to get called an idiot then don't fucking be one. - Today

Totally get your point and massively agree that it is embarrassing and something I wouldn't do. I just can't dig out fellow fans for expressing their frustrations in a way I don't agree with.

Like that Peter Kay bit from about 20 years ago. "How much is that?" "£1.50" "Do you want the 50p?" -

The club was never on the up. There was a togetherness within the playing staff and fans etc but the club has not and never will be on the up under venkys. -

I went to Derby away last season and it was one of the worst days I've ever had as a Rovers fan, up there with the three relegations I've seen and the losses to Burnley, probably more embarrassing as well tbh. We had the pissed ripped out of us for 90 minutes non-stop by the home fans and then all our players went up and started hugging Eustace at full time. There was some Rovers players sat in with the away fans as well who looked mortified. -

I honestly can’t stand these guys, players club want £5m, Rovers willing to pay up to £1.5m. -

I will be surprised if we sign one more . How about a late bid Alebiosi or Toth/ Pears from someone ? Now one of those is definitely possible! -

Apologies, not been keeping up tonight. Who's Dapo? Assume this is a Nixon link? -
To be fair to our fans (I didn't or wouldn't wave a snake!) human nature is to lash out. If you have something to lash out at in front of you, or thousands of miles away who couldn't give a toss, people will pick the physical being. Rightly or wrongly.

Brewster, Agyemang, Morris, Diaz, Weimann, Salvesen! After following Rovers you'd think you weren't allowed that many strikers in a squad... and that's an average side. We're so far behind, essentially been turned into a League One team in 1 summer by Gestede. Looks like he's finishing the job nicely in winter too. -
Away end is bouncing at Bristol, players showing a real togetherness and a club so obviously on the up. To think just over a year ago that was us, it's fucking heartbreaking really.

Still cannot believe we ended up with him. He got more criminal convictions than goals for us. Steve Kean said he was the next Rooney, a few years later, a judge said he was a r*pist. What a turn of events.
