  1. Past hour
  2. He has taken off Gudjohnson In nearly every match mid second half. Lots to be critical about but apart from the big spenders you don't see many teams number 1 goal threats being rested and left out For example Derby wouldn't leave Morris out or Pompey wouldn't leave Laing out We would have all been going mad on here if Gudjohnson had started on the bench v Millwall and we ended up not scoring and drew or lost the match
  3. It's guaranteed to happen if we drop a league.
  4. It's basic pride. Nothing more nothing less. Some people let their house/garden/personal appearance slip, others take pride and ensure they or their property are always maintained to a reasonable standard. It speaks volumes as the face of the club - the first impression tens of thousands will get as they walk towards the ground or sit in it. Some will of course not be able to afford to always do that. But I'm sure the billionaires of Pune can afford to look after basic maintenance. In some ways it helps highlight our plight because it is living, breathing proof of the indifference and lack of pride and respect they have for the institution they have taken hostage. It ends any suggestions from the head in sand brigade that these are decent, well meaning, caring people. The clear proof for all people who visit Ewood is that is not the case - they can't even go to the trouble of ensuring basic maintenance - pitch, paint, signs, even the focal point of the JW statue - are kept in a decent condition. Nor can they hide behind the convenient 'FFP' excuse which they have been able to do for so many other aspects of their negligent regime. And if you've so little interest, pride or care to look after such trivial things then you can forget them worrying about results, performances, league position.
  5. Taking the goalkeeper out of the equation I would suggest that centre halves do the least running of all the players. Regarding Hyam, I always felt he was playing within himself. One of the reasons why he never got injured.
  6. The Big Bopper - Chantilly Lace
  7. When Birmingham's current owners came in, one of the first things they did was give St Andrews a facelift. Obviously in the long term they're planning to move to a new stadium, but the existing ground had a load of issues, looked shite and knackered. I went there last time we played there and it looked miles better. In most parts all they had done was clean it up, repaint it, upgrade signs and billboards, add new digital/electronic features, etc. but I definitely noticed the difference. It probably cost a million quid, but like the Venkys, they're not short of the money. It's a small thing but it doesn't go unnoticed and it puts pride into the club and the fan base.
  8. A big thanks for the excellent work you all do. Best wishes for Christmas & 2026.
  9. Today
  10. Proud to be part of the team, some really good, honest, hardworking people behind the scenes and in front of the microphones. Best wishes for Christmas and for a happy, healthy 2026 to you and your families.
  11. So we did similar with Hyam who every game last season didnt we? Who played every league game.
  12. Can we add Robert Coar to the title of this thread please? Why is this guy still on the board and not in a retirement home? He’s as silent and complicit as anyone at the club and getting an easy ride for someone who’s been at the club so long. Coar OUT
  13. Langer is a class act Chaddy.
  14. Paper Lace - Billy, Don't Be a Hero
  15. And then when the realisation kicks in for those that didn't boycott they'll be wishing they had. Because our club will have plummeted never to return. Then they'll be the ones saying this is shit I'm not bothering watching this tripe anymore.
  16. Merry Christmas one and all, thanks for all you guys do behind the scenes keeping the forum running smoothly, greatly appreciated RTID💙🤍🎄
  17. Yes, completely agree Unfortunately these days, sense very rarely takes precedence over cost cutting
  18. Once Toth is back, it would make a lot of sense to loan out Michalski to play first team football. If Pears and Toth are here until the end of the season, both definitely won't be at the start of next, so Michalski getting experience is vital.
  19. Unless I am misunderstanding, it sounds to me like Dlamini was on the bench as a possible replacement/sub for Litherland at wing back (presumably if they were chasing a goal), rather than a stand in for Gueye. Atcheson similarly, if they wanted to shore things up later on,
  20. I didnt say he wasnt injured, I suggested that he didnt go down the tunnel so I hoped that he was just tired. And yes, we have run numerous players into the ground because our squad is paper thin and we have numerous players unable to contribute. The front 2 have to play every game and it was imevitable that one would pick up a muscle injury soon.
  21. I donate 3 or 4 times a week, to the food bank. Great cause for needy people.
  22. How have we run him into the ground? He played a run of games together. So similar we run Alebiosu or Ohashi into the ground? You weren't saying any thing before he picked this injury which you were only saying yesterday he wasnt injured when he come off. Decent shout but I think Henriksson gives us a bit more physical presence to be honest
  23. Although, the way Pratt & Litherland have stepped up so far, will probably embolden them to try again to offload one of Pears or Toth whilst promoting Michalski instead of replacing them
  24. Pears has been exactly what he is, a capable enough stand in for a better keeper. We need to remember if it was up to the penny pinching powers that be he wouldn't be here now and we'd have had a raw kid in making the mistakes they all do when learning the trade.
