  2. Just caved in and bought the away shirt, now it's 50% off.
  3. Thanks for the info. Perhaps football should go down the same route as Rugby League, and have the concerned officials actually discuss what has occurred and come to the correct decision according to the rules in place. But that is for the grown-ups to decide.
  4. Steeleye Span - All Around My Hat
  5. It was reviewed for a potential red card. The clear and obvious part is subjective. VAR didn't deem it to be an obvious goal scoring opportunity so there was no recommendation for an OFR.
  6. So why did VAR review it. I think to most people involved at any level, it was a clear and obvious error, as the officials missed a keeper deliberately handballing outside his penalty box.
  7. Well said. Get this out there. Far and wide.

  9. Thankyou Rory for making thing clear and easy to digest, appreciate yours and everyone else's efforts. #enoughisenough #timesup
  10. Season ticket sales will have already done that.
  11. Lesley Fielding are you referring to? Well a quick online search suggests she went to Witton Park school from 1979-1984. Likely means she was born in 1968 or thereabouts. Making her 56-57 at a rough guess. So she might be retiring but if she is I'd say she's either very fortunate or has been on a very good number at Brockhall. I think those of us with common sense can see what is going on down there. Patterns emerge of popular long-standing staff members leaving in their droves. That doesn't happen at stable and well run organisations.
  12. I'm not disputing where he went wasn't good for him. I'm saying we needed money quickly, Palace knew and took advantage. That is the crux of the whole debate and is irrefutable.
  13. VAR can only advise on red cards, penalties, goals (scored or disallowed) or mistaken identify. Once the VAR deemed it not to be a 'clear and obvious error' the game restarted normally.
  14. Today
  15. You're saying it was her choice and we have no need to grumble?
  16. I'm not sure, but I wonder if Wharton has not been the same since his groin surgery mid-season. Palace continued to play him when he was struggling badly, putting off the op. This despite the fact that they have a fair few central midfielders. I don't know the details, obviously, but from afar, it was negligent, at best, and maybe even cynical. As a result of having his op. later, clubs needing a quick fix couldn't consider him for the January transfer window. He certainly wasn't great against Villa in the semi-final and outshone by Kamada, in my opinion (despite the pundits lazy bandwagoning). Hopefully, he will return to his best.
  17. Fair enough, not seen that but Unleaded is fairly reliable. I think people do forget though, he is also sharing rumours, he doesn't speak directly to all (probably many at all) of the people he talks about, and isn't infallible. But believing him is understandable.
  18. It wasn't a game for him to show his attributes unfortunately because Palace were so much on the defensive. He did make some useful interventions though.
  19. Whatever, just be dismissive about it instead of replying to the last words and sharing what the problem is.
  20. Excellent post : Get rid of Sam Allardyce as manager get a cheaper one in ..Within their first 6 weeks in charge . Nothing changes but yet some fans think they are the dogs bollocks ! Venkys Out
  21. That was the only highlight from what was one of the worst seasons in history. Thankfully Souness took a machete to that squad and built up a proper team the year after and got the job done.
  22. Good news, that'll help cover Waggotts next bonus 😭
  23. Charles Mingus - Goodbye Pork Pie Hat
  24. The fact they’ve sat on that for what, five years, says everything about this regime. Such a simple but meaningful change and they couldn’t be arsed as they have absolutely no feel for Rovers or its heritage.
  25. For me he’s a sign of the the post-PepBall future. He isn’t interested in the safe option, always looking to get the ball in to dangerous positions and to turn the opposition (even if he loses Palace possession at times)- the exact opposite of what the likes of Grealish have been turned into.
