  1. Past hour
  2. "We made a good deal but we missed the chance to extend Callum before my time. I think if we made the same offer one year ago, we wouldn't have been in that situation . We are still dealing with situations from the past . Now we have a clear line internally, we tried everything to keep him" After the game in Holland .
  3. England must have historically the largest number of players abroad in its History by a long way now. There were quite a few big names away when we were banned from europe in the eighties. But the quantity of english players across the skill levels on the continent is a really new phenomenon. IMO Spain, Germany and France being so dominant in international football is very closely connected to the sheer quantity of players they have in the Champions League at clubs far and wide. I think those nations are getting 2x + more CL minutes than English players. Hopefully the exodus of english talent will address that balance to some degree. Edit - found this stat leaderboard... Pretty embarrassing that Switzerland and Belgium were ahead of us considering they only had one club each in the CL and they have populations around a fifth of englands..
  4. It’s like the fucking DFS sale.
  5. Was more pointing out that we dont have a decent taker of set pieces.
  6. Nice to be constantly reminded really. Cheers
  7. You would completely and utter wrong Ricky
  8. I’m banking on Chaddy being in the 12% club πŸ˜„
  9. Today
  10. If they do show their workings it'll be in the only crayon they haven't already eaten
  11. True story. And then they seriously think that the passage of a few months, the summer break, a few new cheap signings and a new season makes it all ok and that we should just forget the events of the last couple of years and move on. Some people might be able to close their minds to it and get on with it but I can't, not when the creators of all the above are still in place. Any changes are superficial and cosmetic whilst the owners and their stooge remain.
  12. It's only transitional because the Club CHOSE not to back Eustace and extend the contracts of himself or any key players. Any normal Club having got to the position we were in in January would have moved heaven and earth to a) Keep the manager happy b) Extend the contracts of key players and c) Make a proper push for the plays offs not bring in a load of players who weren't match fit Instead.... ..
  13. I saw Axel Henriksson got compared to Alex Scott actually
  14. i agree, for some reason he`s rated as extremely good, another alex scott, sold for big money but they ar`nt actually very good
  15. Back in another transitional period β€” anyone know if they ever end?
  16. Thanks, it was the top one. It was the "mistakes from the past" bit that I wanted to clarify.
  17. Potential bombshell this one if anyone acts on it - as per my post above.
  18. So social media posts and YouTube streams of friendlies- how is that any different than any other season or any other club at this level for that matter? Just the very basic stuff a Championship club should be doing, it doesn’t even need referring to, is your bar for the people running Blackburn Rovers really that low? (It’s a rhetorical question BTW)
  19. Got to be careful how I put this but if you have incontrovertible proof that a) The Club applied for and actually received charitable funding for the appointment of a Fan Engagement Officer but that b) No such officer was ever appointed then depending on the degree of good faith involved on the Club's behalf, that is potentially obtaining money under false pretences and fraud. Perhaps a detailed complaint to the Trustees of the Premier League Charitable fund and /or the Police would be in order?
  20. Eh? Care to explain?.where I have said any of that. Currently now but they were agreed Been good social media plus fans being able to see all 3 overseas games.
  21. 'Feels different' ? I don't know where that's coming from but it doesn't feel much different to normal at Ewood, we are selling players, expecting more to leave and scrabbling around for new signings that aren't all getting over the line. The summer of JDT, The Egg, a new structure and a bit of investment felt different it felt good and it was good for a while until they ruined that. This still feels like winging it to me and there could be a lot of twists and turns yet and actually the only person i have faith in is Ismael and i think he's going to have to perform miracles.
