Million percent this , This new narrative its all the players fault for wanting to exit on masse is unbelievable. Staff , players, managers the exits this last 12 months is not about a few quid here and there. Even Val looked a bit peed today. -

Wonder if Suhail is just on a full on vengeance war path, the fans hate him, ramping up the pressure on him, pushing him to the brink of being removed. His response, just sell all of our better players as a final fuck you, before he's canned. -

Agree with all of that. He's honest, i'll give him that, but he's a downgrade on what we had IMO. -

Just got home, it was shite. Not much more to say. Toth improved but looked very dodgy early doors. Kargbo drew three yellow cards with fouls against him, can’t cross for toffee but a real threat. Best part of the day was probably the Vine pre match for their chicken tikka. -

A big worry! It is clear that a big reason for the team punching so well above their weight was the culture and togetherness( sorry, I know). A lot of wilful damage has been done to this, including the "disappearing" of key figures on and off the field. -

What about him pulling Ohashi back by the shoulder before the “ tackle “ ? Even the WBA comms team said it was a clear pen. -

Why Leonard? Clauses that will raise his wages if he ever plays or just not fancied by the new set up? -

So if he’d sent Henriksson off in the first 15 minutes you have been happy and we would have got a point. He would have got booked for 2 of those 3 fouls in the second half. And Travis is all over Price for their goal. He was generally shit and it was a penalty on Yuki but come on, it wasn’t his fault we could muster a meaningful chance. -

If the referee had made the right decisions, we would have come away with at least a point. -

If Baradji signs, what about this supposed need for him to go under the knife according to Alan Nixon...? Then Travis' replacement is immediately unavailable. Comical scenario really if that all happens. Miyoshi would be a good signing...but then a paper bag blowing in the wind would be more effective than Hedges. -

Amidst talk about everything else, owners, board, signings, sales and contracts. The one variable that seems to have just been assumed as ok is Ismael himself. The way he speaks seems to have charmed many. His previous spells at this level were failure and although we ended last season well, his first 7 or 8 games were obviously a disaster. A lot of neutrals seem to cite him as the main reason why they think we will struggle. He has a hard job, and I am not sure either way yet. But I am certainly not convinced. Yet. -

It's about the players that can provide and support as well. None of the starting 3 forward minded players behind him looked anywhere near capable today. -

Awful day of football from our end- some of these new signings look atrocious for this level(sorry chaps !) least the sun was shining and it’s not a long drive home but that wasn’t a great start. I just saw VIs comments about Trav- he will be off for sure- he may not have asked to not play but he isn’t going to be convinced by some of these new lads who are so inexperienced at this level onwards and upwards I hope -
Rovers tik-tokker jollie oli and Jake Berry have surely never been seen together in the same room..

Ismael gave little away as to whether Rovers were any closer to adding the right winger they clearly need and desire. He was quizzed on Koji Miyoshi but didn't offer much. "We still have three weeks, so I can't tell you anything at the minute," he said. "We're working hard behind the scenes. I think it's obvious now which position we need. "As I say, you have your target guy. Either you stay patient until you can get him, or you try to move on to the next one. But at some point, when we think he's the right player for us, we have to do everything." "There are a lot of players that I like," he said with a smile on Miyoshi. Was a half chance at best. Also was looking for the penalty and went down unnaturally. Do you stand by your suggestion that we was correct to keep Hedges? What does he offer that no one else sees? And do you stand by your justification of us only signing one more attacking player? Also, would sum us up to replace Travis with someone who would be out for months through injury. -

Do we need a striker, Chaddy? You’re 0 for 1 on the predictions front as well. Plenty of time, BUT, might be time to evaluate the ‘never bet against Rovers’ approach. -

No point taking Neil Yardley too seriously, he’s in-house media. Asking him to critically analyse a match or ask probing questions is akin to asking Russian State Media to pull up Putin on invading Ukraine.
