  1. Past hour
  2. How long before we get an under/over market on "here we go" social posts?
  3. Any other teams transfers will be irrelevant now Liverpool have had a bid accepted for Isak and Sky are wanking themselves into a frenzy about it 🀣 Huge fee that for someone so injury prone but if he stays fit they're gonna be unstoppable, especially if they get Guehi too. Out of interest, can anyone remember the last deadline day where we had literally no incomings? Surely there will be something in the pipeline.... Someone will get Fofana on loan today and I'll look on enviously.
  4. Today
  5. VI quoted over the weekend as having no interest in Browne and not looking to bring a keeper in, same old stuff about needing pathway for the younger guys. Also said whilst it can change and opportunities can come up quickly, no loans were being looked at.
  6. Pasha being even more hated at 7.30pm is an evens bet... No SWAG or Chesterton fall guys this window.
  7. Team is crying out for a player like Browne. Bit of experience and toughness. A CM and another forward and we will be in good shape.
  8. I was not happy with either of those two. I do not know why they were so poor but to me they looked like they did not fancy it. Potential problem? Hope not, just gel time right?
  9. Yesterday
  10. Going to be bold and predict two in tomorrow. One permanent and a loan.
  11. Bookie's odds makes sense only if Rovers is operating as a normal football club, but this is clearly not the case.
  12. What a stadium
  13. Makes sense from a rational/normal perspective, but bookies clearly haven’t factored in the current β€œsituation” at Rovers. Equally likely, regardless of results, VI’ll sack Rovers. Will he be sacked if Rovers get relegated?
  14. and was utterly pathetic without selling our best players, which they did.
  15. Yeah once the window closes that includes loans. A number of years ago, they had an extra window for loans but thay has long since gone. You can only then sign free agents and they would have had to be free agents when the window closed.
  16. What do you mean? I don't think age comes into it at all. I suspect what you're thinking of is youth players making loan moves after our window closes, but that's because they're moving to non-league teams who have a different window system for loans.
  17. Prediction: Alan Browne will come in, along with two (far too young/raw) PL loans join last minute - at GK and LW/RW. Leonard goes, Pears goes (or is mutually terminated), and unfortunately, I'm going to predict Tyjon gets sold to Arsenal. Batty and another kid gets loaned out too. ... and Junior Hoilett signs a new long-term contract!
  18. If Wrexham do get Sheaf and potentially Vyner, theyve had an absolutely unbelievable window. They have signed Callum Doyle which was a brilliant signing, as well as Conor Coady. Add Vyner on top and theyve made a new back 3. Theyve also signed a left wing back for a decent fee who was playing in Serie A last season. In midfield, both Sheaf and O'Brien are stand outs at this level and with James, Thomason, Rathbone and Dobson theyve plenty of further experience. Then in attack, theyve added to Sam Smith with Broadhead, Windass, Moore and Hardie. Their main issues aside from gelling it all together are Danny Ward in net who has instantly become number 1 and is woeful, and I still have question marks over whether Parkinson is the man to get the best out of it.
  19. Seeing as we arent signing a keeper. I cant believe im saying this. But I hope Pears doesnt go and he regains his place as sub keeper.
  20. No chance we get in two. Even if we do we’ll probably fail the paperwork because if we can’t sort that out at 11 pm, crikey I wonder what would happen at 7pm
  21. Don't think so. You can sign players outside the window who are free agents.
  22. Just looked him up. We paid Β£1.1m for him in 2011 when in the Premier League and he made 1 appearance before being loaned out in 2012 to Stevenage then Oldham/Rotherham/Ross County and Port Vale before having his contract terminated in 2015. Guess his agent would have been happy enough.
  23. I'm interested to see who goes out. Leonard sounds about done but Pears will be looking. Younger guys on loan have longer to make moves if I remember rightly.
  24. my predictions is for 2 signings tomorrow roll on 7pm
  25. Hopefully one more player on the pitch than last Saturday's second half! I'd move Cantwell back alongside Tronstad as Tavares has been absolutely woeful and figure out how to shuffle things around up top for Moroshita to start. Cantwell's fitness and willingness to get stuck in seems to have improved a lot. Anyone have any timeline on when Baradji will be fit, or failing that when we we will find out any info on his injury?
  26. Prediction for deadline day. No signings, the biggest news being Leonard being sold and one or two young lads like Batty going out on loan. A brief period where someone (probably Alan Nixon) links us to a deal that was never happening, the rumour lasts an hour or two before fizzling out.
  27. Remember when we gave Sheff U 1 million for a lad named Slew with the intention to loan him back but i think he ended up somewhere else but on a very good Rovers contract. Hmmm....
