  1. Past hour
  2. Something like this is what the last ESC spot should have been used for, a potential game changer, Not someone who will probably take until Christmas to get up and running. If we were creative surely we could have signed Baradji, sent him for his op while keeping him on loan at his current club until January, he then would have been fit and raring to go as a January signing.
  3. For me right now I prefer Ismaรซl. Why? Eustace was for the here and now, yes it worked to a degree, yes you earn your luck but I felt he had some lucky wins last season. Ismaรซl is looking to play a more attacking style with players of a better age, Ok we've lost Dolan but we've brought in money with other sales and replaced with players with good potential ceilings. Building for the future.
  4. We know Suhail has been here from the start of this nightmare. Anyone know what connection Gestede and Adam Owen might have with Steve Kean?..
  5. Don't know anything about Baradaj or Morishita but from reading their backgrounds sound a lot more about them than the other unknowns that have come in. Anyone who brings goals and assists is an improvement on what we have today!
  6. Well Tronstad has turned 30 today, so they are likely looking at getting rid in the last week of the window!
  7. Tell you what, I really like Slot, his post match interviews are quite interesting to listen to.
  8. The Guess Who - These Eyes
  9. Technically also Barrett, Pratt & Garrett, but they are all unlikely to be registered. So think 21 is correct
  10. Elton John - I Guess Thatโ€™s Why they Call It The Blues
  11. Reckon its at 21 for now, plus 3 youth in Michalski, Tyjon and Montgomery. More importantly perhaps all 4 ESC slots are used. 1 - Toth (ESC) Youth - Michalski 2 - Alebiosu 3 - Miller Youth - Montgomery 4 - Hyam 5 - Wharton 6 - Carter 7 - McLoughlan 8 - Ribeiro 9 - Pickering 10 - Tronstad (for now, I think we may be looking to offload if they want another CM) 11 - Tavares 12 - Baradji (ESC) 13 - Forshaw 14 - Henriksson (ESC) 15 - Cantwell Youth - Tyjon 16 - Hedges 17 - Kargbo (ESC) 18 - De Neve 19 - Morishita 20 - Ohashi 21 - Gueye Not going to include Buckley, Pears or Leonard since they seem the most likely to leave. Leaves space for a back-up goalie hopefully, another striker and a couple more if they really want. (Happy to amend if any info is not correct) Edit 1* - Garrett, Barrett and Pratt would need registered if they are to be part of first team; hopefully not..
  12. Eddie Cochran - Summertime Blues
  13. They could technically sign him without an ESC and loan him back to his current club (or another European club) until January when Toth can be converted to a standard GBE freeing up an ESC slot Not that I think that will happen, just that it could be done Edit - this next bit is probably one for Wilsden, although if anyone else has an idea on this then feel free to chime in Would it be possible to sign a player without an ESC and loan them to a Championship club who does have an ESC slot (Sheff Wed for instance who are crying out for players) until january/for the season, until they qualify for a GBE? I cant see a reason why not, but wonder if I am missing something
  14. I suspect he will play on the right, but maybe Ismael is happy to have Kargbo and Hedges as the right wingers? Kargbo played well there versus Hull and before that game Hedges had usually been better on the right too.
  15. That's a good shout that. Going for the real 1950's style.
  16. Eddie Holman - Hey There Lonely Girl
  17. Today
  18. No we haven't. Shame - as out of the players linked up top, he looks a good profile for what we want.
  19. I was there. The handball was on or around the half way line mid way through the game. It was game over after that and we got battered. Dumb football. Like that Kevin Ball โ€œ tackle โ€œ on Dunny. Brain dead. Whatever chance the dingles had of getting something out of the game went with him.
  20. Have we still got a ESC space left? Afimico Pululu is a name that keeps cropping up. Club is looking to sell as he wonโ€™t sign a new deal - wouldnโ€™t cost 5 million either ๐Ÿ˜†
  21. Our total lack of structure and inability to press or screen played a massive role in them looking like this in that game. It was VIโ€™s first game and the first 45 minutes was embarrassing, we basically let Duffy walk the ball through the middle of the pitch half the time
  22. Before the Sheffield Utd game in Mayโ€ฆ
  23. Unlikely as VI has already stated he isn't a fan of loans especially if it'd going to hamper development of our own youth. A striker and a centre half would make sense though if there's anyone decent knocking about.
  24. Will be interesting to see if we get any premier league kids on loan. When was the last season we werenโ€™t starting and relying on them in the first XI
  25. Yuki has song competition now hehe Heyyyyyy hey Mori ooh ahh!!!!! I wanna knowwwwwww if you'll score 14 goals and assist another 14 this seasonnnnnnnnn!!!
  26. Random musings. We can blow Wodz out of the water in transfer dealings even under Pasha restrictions if we want to. Buckingham is the Saudi Manager, Buckley is that rarely, a Rovers player under contract, so some sort of transfer fee is possible. Henriksson collected yellow cards at his former club for fun with the odd red for a bit of variety .It worried me how he disappeared from the game at WBA after the ref had a word about his persistent fouling. Seems a bit uncoordinated physically from the evidence to date. I wouldn't bet against us screwing outgoings as badly as incomings with Buckley, Travis, Pears and Leonard Rovers players this time next week. I find it amusing to see the same people rightly decrying January slumps and extremely weak Rovers benches currently saying we have too many CMs etc. I like the idea we potentially have extreme competition for places.
