True, none of us (other than the keepers) know how good or otherwise Benson is. It just gets a bit tiresome when people with no knowledge of his ability as a coach criticise him with no foundation.

I dont have an opinion on whether he is good or not, but players will always praise them. Means absolutely nothing.

Indeed. A CEO should ultimately be accountable for all aspects of the business. As TomPhil says, it's a box tick/patsy.

As always, I think the 3 stooges (now 2 stooges) have just been lying to us consistently. Clearly the court case in India is having a serious impact on the club and despite a few leaked stories about players signing new contracts or being in advanced talks with potential signings, we're more likely to see players like Travis, Tronstad, Hyam and Brittain sold to cover the costs for the owners. The club will spin any number of various lines to cover their backs, from blaming the players for being greedy or not blocking pathways for academy players. Its all bullshit and I'm fucking fed up with it all.
