  1. Past hour
  2. YEP, its what they say that counts not what they do!
  3. Teenage sensation? I don't get to watch the youth sides often but keep eye through here and the website. I don't recall Eze getting much hype to be called a teenage sensation or to the tune that Milan or Juventus would come knocking. Have I missed it?
  4. Today
  5. Glad Sheffield cheaters stayed down. Wilder getting his half time talk and subs all wrong makes it even better.
  6. Agree but tbf ghuei really stepped up at the euros. He was probably our best player and konsa has proven to be a good champions league defender
  7. I think we have often set up quite defensively but even individually, we are much worse now because we had the likes of Stones, Walker and even Shaw who are all a shadow of their former self.
  8. it takes a glacial amount of time to do anything at ewood,we waited ages for mcfadzean to sign an extension last year,no idea why you can`t agree a deal quickly with a player who is already on the payroll
  9. Juventus are after that Eze kid we signed from Accy. He has Italian nationality
  10. I'm pretty confident Batth won't be here next season. Elliot reckons we offered him his new deal around Easter time. Or if he does end up signing, it will be later in the window if he doesn't end up getting any better offers.
  11. I was expecting a wilder meltdown post match in his interview, fair play he was actually reasonable and congratulated Sunderland, he's right though that second 'goal' would have been game over, although he didn't dwell on it like I expected him to. Both Sunderland and Leeds have the potential to stay up with some big investment.
  12. https://eflanalysis.com/news/how-steve-waggott-and-venkys-responded-to-blackburn-rovers-investment-offer-before-ceos-exit/ If true, Venkys declined outside investment in the Women's team but then also refused to put the money in themselves.
  13. De Paul is a good defensive player
  14. I'm agreeing it's not our best position but we've always done well defensively at tournaments with the right set up especially under Southgate
  15. He probably wants to leave, so he may take the same wage with a sweetener..
  16. Like usual at that basket case club he’ll be backed in the summer, theyll then bring in more overpriced dross… and then he’ll be potted in about October.
  17. My less-than-informed impression, which is based only really on highlights, is that Wharton has not been at his best since returning from groin injury and surgery mid-season. Though he has been starting, Palace have rotated their many CMs, including Kamada, Hughes, Lerma and Devenny. Wharton didn't play in their last game, if I remember rightly. My guess is that there is a lot of confirmation bias going on. Every sliver of evidence being used to build the argument that Wharton is currently a world-beater - overlooking where he's not doing so well, compared to before. It makes sense for Wharton to rest and get back to his best. Palace failed in their duty of care, I believe, in playing him when he was suffering from injury.
  18. He may have said the right things, I have never disagreed. So what? Hes not a pundit. The football team he is managing has become far worse and shown no signs of progress with him in charge, showing no signs of any promise and resulting in some abysmal results. And long may it continue.
  19. No it's very relevant cos he expected it and warned the club before he started this would happened I dont get why you can accept he was right and United have backed him which I expected given Ratcliffe interview with Gary Neville about his 1st year in charge there
  20. Batth was involved in 37 games for us this season. Would Wrexham pay more?
  21. Wrong here RF99. Like with the Senior Training Centre being sold that they tried, I called it out straight away and said it's was completely and utter disgrace to do it. Rovers PR and media relations are poor as ever. Look at India Court and the mess around that. They tried to ignore it instead of being proactive and control the story.
  22. I saw a lot of Pezzella here for Betis, lead the back line and more often than not was in the right place to head clear or get a block in - class player. He wasn't first choice for Argentina during the tournament, so whoever was infront of him must've been very good. This is, of course, said with some bias on my part 😜
  23. Absolutely, but equally people would have said that about their team. You can win it without brilliant players in every position, but theres no harm in admitting that we are weak in that position.
  24. Argentina didn't have any top class defenders when they won the World cup
  25. If Rovers decided to sell the stadium, chaddy would simply demand a video explaining the decision to the stakeholders.
  26. Centre backs ranging from good to average to totally out of the picture to well past their best. So no top level centre backs that a team with supposed aspirations of winning major tournaments would expect to have.
  27. I know he said it. My point was that its irrelevant. I dont get why you become so fixated over what people say rather than results/actions. Thats good news though if he carries on being as bad as he has been. Hes made them far worse since he joined.
