  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks, my old man was going to get one but can only make Saturday 3pm games really. Even at Senior prices in the JWU that makes it north of £40 a game. He’s not bothering.
  3. this is a decision that illustrates that nobody in the club has a clue what they are doing,it makes absolutely no sense at all to retain a 20 odd year old goalkeeper who is never going to make a 1st team appearance,he did`nt even make an impression when loaned out in the non league
  4. Today
  5. It's certainly a strange decision. I honestly can't ever see him challenging for a first team place and see him more as a blocker for the pathways of our younger keepers. It's the low hanging fruit again from Gestede. The real effort should be in getting new deals done for the senior players whose contracts are winding down.
  6. Hilton left in January, Eastham, Goddard & Kahn are out of contract this summer. Michalski & Honor are the 2 who are currently in contract from the U21s. Then we have Wolsoncroft, Thompson & Holt in the U18s
  7. We also have about 10 keepers for the U21's, thought there were a couple of others ahead of him, or at least a couple more highly rated than him? Maybe Pears is off and this guy becomes No.2, which is crazy but expected of this regime.
  8. That is a terrifying thought 😉 https://www.playmakerstats.com/player/jack-barrett/660024 G M GC AST Premier League International Cup 4 360 6 0 Premier League 2 8 720 21 0 Northern Premier League 8 720 12 0 U21 PL Cup 3 270 7 0 National League Cup 3 270 11 0 Total 26 2340 57 0 B
  9. I counted (hopefully correctly!) seven.
  10. The Chi-lites - Stoned Out of my Mind
  11. If Tom Cleverley gets the job of a relegated side with parachute payments, considering he oversaw the worst second half of a season in the Championship, then he has one hell of an agent.
  12. My thinking is that some prem team will take Pears to be 3rd choice in the summer and Barrett will be promoted to back up behind Toth. Cheap and cheerful.
  13. Sorry I didn’t realise I’m only allowed to view certain topics… The collective head loss from you all on here about Wharton is tragic. If you saw other clubs doing this you’d think it’s incredibly tin pot (and you’d be correct)
  14. Very strange decision, was not first choice in the 7th tier when on loan. He was signed as cover for Workingtons injured first choice and dropped once he returned, in the last few games of the season Workington didn't even bother naming him (or any other keeper) on their bench Over 21, so if included in the first team squad he takes up a squad place too
  15. I meant we can know that Unleaded was only speculating. Given that's what we were talking about, I thought you were responding that we can't know he was speculating, which we can. If you meant we can't know which rumour is correct, if either, then I agree.
  16. How is the ‘reasoning poor’? He was brought up a five minute drive from me, he’s a fan of my club. Can’t say I remember any other Blackburners since Bryan Douglas who have had the career he will. I will follow his career and make no apologies for it. You have no connection to the area, so don’t get it, not really my problem.
  17. communicating to fans inside is none, its shameful. the decision wasn't a difficult one speed up lads
  18. I disagree, and I think that City might face more unfavourable decisions, with their protracted case against the premier league. Just an opinion no proof.
  19. We can't know this unless Murray as something if he is even coming here which everyone is assuming he is. I think its a done deal given Elliott Jackson reposted the story of him leaving Eastbourne on Saturday
  20. It was a penalty and Henderson should have been sent off earlier in the match. Not sure anyone can use that final as an example of VAR helping out the 'big clubs'.
  21. You can disagree with me, but the reasoning that you use is poor. 15 years ago we would have been laughing at Burnley had they been turning up to FA Cup finals with flags to support an ex-player. There are few examples that are more indicative of just how far this club has fallen. We could run through a list as long as my arm of academy players or 'Blackburn lads' who didn't get this type of attention when they left.
  22. Why do you keep checking into it then? I think it's cringe how many people are commenting on a topic they claim to not care about, telling others they shouldn't care either. Seems to happen a lot on here though, the data thread was clogged with similarly strange input. If you don't care about it, don't come here and read about it, it's not hard.
  23. We can know this, with an extremely high degree of certainty, because we all understand the English language, and the difference between saying something is 'maybe' the case, versus stating that it is the case.
  24. If they insist upon keeping VAR, then they should change VAR rules so that if VAR cannot say for certain within 30 seconds, then the refs/linesman's original decision stands
  25. over 5 minutes for a VAR check in the WHU vs Forest game. pathetic and it wasn't a hard decision to make either
  26. how is the role cheaper please? The salary isn't mentioned in the Job Advert but the salary even on minimum wage will be around 24k a year
