  1. Past hour
  2. I'm fearing operation dumb down in the latest chapter of managed decline is about to hit another gear. If they are going to shrink the club to its own income levels or thereabouts it's going to get very painful indeed and we'll only get rid of puppets once the deed is done.
  3. Had a chat with someone today. Told Venkys aren't looking to sell but not happy with those running the club. Waggott the first but not expected to be the last. Also alluded - as most had worked out - that the current leadership did not want promotion.
  4. This has the feel of a cancer sufferer celebrating getting rid of a crappy wig. It doesn't solve the underlying problem and the next one might be even more crappy. Lets hope they don't apoint someone direct from chicken HQ to take over.
  5. Spot on den. The further probems as I see them, this gives the club a reason to hold back transfer funds, if any had been set aside in the first place and Waggott, like him or loath him, was the best CEO we've had since this lot landed, he wasn't the problem, the owners are the problem. VENKYS OUT - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS
  6. Good riddance. Unforgivable decisions made on his watch. If only it was the first domino of many. Suhail should be next, but he's probably getting another useless crook to replace him. Let's keep the heat up.
  7. Hehe @K-Hod first role of coalition candidate, altering the thread title 🤣👍
  8. That's part of the plan. Remember the excuses about last summers late recruitment because they "had only just got in the building". This years excuse is right here, having to put all there energy into this instead. Don't be expecting any significant contracts or transfer news any time soon.
  9. Today
  10. Yeah I thought he'd be after Batth. If I was Batth's agent I'd be touting him around the Championship at the moment. He can certainly get a bigger wage than we'll offer.
  11. Glad Waggott has gone, but I fear if / when Gestede gets announced as his replacement we will feel like its back to square one, or even a few steps further back. Waggott was a problem....but he wasn't THE problem. Still, as I say I'm glad he's gone.
  12. Amorim has been awful, so I hope Ratcliffe and his cronies do what they did with ten Hag and give him an extension. Not only are the players at his disposal not up to it he won't shift from playing an unworkable 3-4-3. Look what Moyes has done at Everton, or Pereira at Wolves. Adaptation is one key to being a good coach. His overall record is; P-40, W-15, D-10, L-15, giving him a 37.5% win rate. However, that is skewed by the Europa League. His Prem record is P-26, W-6, D-6, L-14, 23.08% win rate. Steve Kean's Rovers Premier League record; Overall; P-67, W-17, D-14, L-36, win rate 25.37%. 2010-11; P-29, W-9, D-17, L-13, win rate 31.03%. 2011-12; P-38, W-8, D-17, L-23, win rate 21.05%. I'd be worried if I was a Man U fan, but I'm not so I'll watch and laugh.
  13. It's going to get complicated now that Waggott has been potted. Looks like a slimmed down executive team.
  14. Steve Waggott is out with just a cursory thanks for the work done. The King is dead long live the king, whoever he may be Maybe a palace coup or perhaps he said the wrong thing on a Venkys Zoom call. Like, Valerian would like to increase the transfer budget.
  15. He may be 34 but if there’s one player we should be busting a gut to get that’s Danny Baath. It was so telling when he was out injured and won’t be easily replaced.
  16. Can someone check if ChatGPT is down this afternoon?
  17. One useless twat down, several to go.
  18. Utter disregard for Jack Walker's death from lung cancer. Slapping a red devil on the kit. Anything else is an irrelevance in comparison.
  19. Nothing will change and unless they get someone in with a sound knowledge of dealing with league business and legislation plus all aspects of the inner workings of a club then how long before we fall foul of the authorities ? Not long i'd say, no surprise if points deductions are on the horizon within 12 months time.
  20. The problem with that theory is that those of us who want change are ravenously hungry. Sacking one of the three stooges will just serve to send us into a frenzy because we see it as the first of the dominos to fall.
  21. The official attendance thst day was 30,232.
  22. Hello, is this the 'Dancing on Steve Waggott's grave' party?
  23. Does it really matter who the next CEO is? Will it change anything in the long run? I'm not sure it will. We should be focusing on pressuring the owners to remove Pasha and then announce that the club is for sale.
  24. 2nd top scorer, a goal off top scorer, for a side who came very close to the playoffs. I think they'll see that as a decent signing for a squad player given where they finished. If they see him as the main man then yeh maybe they won't amount to much, but it's probably a squad player that can add some goals in tight games they're looking for.
  25. Silvester. Broughton. Waggott. JDT. Eustace. The fans The players? Who's next in the fall guy queue? It's only a matter of time before this shit show completely falls apart. I've said it before but...Yasir, Rudy...if you are reading this...do yourselves a favour. Nobody is succeeding at this club under this shit regime. Look at the past 15 years at this football club and tell us why we should be content with this ownership? Use your own brains and get that crap about us wanting a repeat of 1995 out of your heads. That's a false narrative deliberately being put out there to discredit us fans. Ask around Blackburn, Yasir...which Rovers fans do you know or speak to, who want Venky's out, because they want the Shearer and Sutton days back and the spending of the 90s to return? You know that's bullshit, we know that's bullshit. Rudy would do well to start grasping that. Know, that it's Pasha's exit we are after. It's him and the owners we have a massive issue with. Blackburn Rovers does not recover until Pasha and Venky's are gone. If you want to back Pasha and do his bidding, that's up to you, but you then become a part of the problem. On Waggott, of course I'm glad he has gone. This has been a long time coming. He he has played his part in the dumbing down of this club and the lowering of expectations. From day one it was clear what he was about, but many out there convinced themselves into believing he was a good appointment because he wasn't Shaw or Agnew. What a ridiculously low bar to operate from, but once again, this all goes back to the actions of those at the top. We've been making do for 15 years based on the sad rationale that the new appointment/signing/coach/whoever is less shit than the previous incumbent. Standards are on the floor at this club and there have been two constants throughout all of this. While I'm pleased with Waggott's exit, it changes nothing in the overall picture. You're next, Pasha.
