  1. Past hour
  2. He could cross a ball, from what I remember, and had fairly tricky feet, but a bit of a sicknote. Trouble is though, aren't Rovers now known in the English game as being a club in some kind of crisis, low-balling wages and creating waves for anyone above the ridiculously low bar that has been set for paying new recruits. As a result, I'd be very surprised if a player would care to drop down from a newly promoted prem club, to a crisis club complete with toxic atmosphere, inept management and completely uninterested owners, where there is no evidence at all that things are going to change for the better in the short, medium or long term... I know, I make it sound sooooo attractive.. Now I see why recruitment has been from the ranks of obscure outfits on the periphery of Siberia - no-one there has heard of Blackburn Rovers, mighty conquerers of the Premier League, Football Association Founder members and the home of Jack Walker (oh, and all that other shit we have had to swallow and wallow in since the arrival of the gumptionless ones of Pune..). Y'know, for a second or two there I almost thought we might be looking at Prem cast offs, but then reality bit me in the ballards and I remembered that we ain't like that no more..
  3. I don't know if this was intentional rather than a typo, but it really fits.
  4. How many appearances since he left us? Tells you everything...
  5. Chaddy, everyone is obviously aware that Sky offer clubs more money to show more games. That isnt escaping people. Sky want more games to justify continuing to flog increasingly expensive subscriptions, clubs just want as much money as possible, which only then goes to ever increasing wages, all the while ticket prices go up in spite of these TV deals. No one doesnt understand the above. But the above doesnt justify the disregard shown towards fans. 7 games all at that same time is a kick in the face to fans. And I would love to know the viewing figures on those extra 6 red button games. What can anyone do other than moan? Your whole argument in trying and failing to justify it boils down to you thinking that people dont understand, which they do, or to just tell them to stop moaning. Its all a build up, clubs, the EFL and Sky would all happily do anything to inconvenience fans if it led to more money.
  6. I like Poveda.. definitely a player in there.
  7. Well we played two seasons without an actual goalkeeper so I don't see the harm in it.
  8. Hasn’t been relegated in a Belgium league so I can’t see this one happening…
  9. Have things really got that desperate?
  10. We all have a choice chaddy, we get that. What happens when the fans start making the choice not to attend because of the ridiculous levels of inconvenience placed upon them? Can you answer that?
  11. Yes, all fans have a choice and as Millwall will bring about 300 their choice will have been not to come… but hey, there’s 7 games on the red button, so who cares about the two thirds empty ground.
  12. We had him once and he was shit/injured. So he'll be a shoo in
  13. I think Miyoshi is a quality player and better than Dolan. Sunderland's Ian Poveda is available, would anyone take him?
  14. hit the nail on the head, people will wake up when it’s too late.
  15. As did I pre Covid. Circumstances have changed for me as posted above. I fully the public transport argument thanks RF99. It's a fair point. Yet you missed the point. EFL and it's clubs wanted more revenue from TV rights so how do you that without more games on TV? Also you swerve this question, Yet you keep going on and on about week after week, month after month for 12 months now. What have done other than moaning on here?
  16. So Pasha Gestede strike again with nother major balls up on a loan Leo duru a future rb for the club in my eyes better than monty who is only playing cause val likes height Rovers say its a loan until october when amercian season finishes The american club say its until 2026 with a view to buy for few hundred thousand. pasha see's that as 110% profit on the books like the clown he is and not willing to develop a player just like when he came out and said didnt no if adam wharton would make it. Im telling you now his idea to down grade the academy is happening aswell mark my words i was told this is a reason why Jones left total refusing to fund coaches needs and academy needs - there was only waggot by his self who kept the academy at cat 1 statues . Finaly the other news of a player being banned TRAVIS - Which the club has wanted for age after the racism inquest what went on Buckley t& Leomard to find new clubs by there selfs and not needed The club is wrotten to the dam core The 3 musketeers are killing everything left of the club all for own personal gains , Us fans need to ramp up against them all now - 18month time we will be league 1 fighting another relegation battle if nothing is done
  17. Genuine supporters? What does that he'll mean? Cos since Covid I've haven't done the amount of away games I did pre covid due to my work commitments and my missus having 2 serious and life threatening medical conditions.. So yes I fully understand what these changes but I also the role of TV within the football and fans have been plenty of notice. Millwall fans have a choice to make whether to attend or not
  18. No reason is given in the filing list. Every previous application has either been to ask to send monies or to try and change the conditions for doing so. There’s no longer a need to go to court just to be able to send funds as the Directorate of Enforcement are ‘happy’ to issue No Objection Certificates subject to the previously imposed conditions being adhered to. Therefore my guess, and it is just that, is they’re trying again to have the guarantee requirement removed.
  19. And the saddest thing of all when that happens?...the Club no longer serves any purpose. Even if we did win on Saturday its come to a point where it would be so what, the Club has zero ambition anyway.
  20. Today
  21. Frustrating watching him tonight. He could easily dominate teams but he's not showing for the ball. That's his big weakness. He's too laid back. He should be demanding the ball all the time
  22. Playing devil's advocate, if say, Dolan or someone established in the first team had said that, would you have the same opinion or be congratulating them on making the situation public?
  23. Does the filing list a reason for the application? Is it to send usual monies to keep the lights on or for a different reason?
  24. Yep. Apart from our social media team and the first team players who have a club-owned mic shoved under their nose, there’s nothing positive coming out of the club. It’s clearly a horrible place to be right now - both players and back room staff. As you say, it’ll only lead to one outcome.
  25. You could say the same about Pedri, as an example, though. And it isn’t holding him back. Adam will still reach the very top (IMO).
