And you will be thinking that is the fault of the fans?

Ill post it, when we're in league 1, with nobody turning up for matches.

The Award Winning Ewood Park Experience
Old Codger replied to BRFCS.com's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Just for context, the above is what passes for a 21st Century stadium these days. Makes me puke to think how pathetic Rovers current situation is, relative to where they might have been, had the chicken wankers actually invested in the club these past 15 years. Hang your head in shame, Rao brothers and sisters. Your incompetence, ignorance and petulance are the laughing stock of the football world. Now, fuck off. VENKYS OUT! -

Due to my ongoing pettiness, I will neither watching nor attending after Hull let me get to the Humber Bridge before cancelling a game on Boxing Day. I hate Hull. -

Osayi-Samuel had a good game today. He’s not as dynamic in attack as Alebiosu but he’s very steady in defence. Not a lot to choose between them to be honest. However I can’t see them changing a winning team, barring injuries.
-
The right back is Osayi-Samuel from Birmingham who the Nigerian fans don't seem to rate (who like Alebiosu is only in the squad because of injuries to Aina at Forrest and someone else) After Alebiosus game in the group stage, there seemed to be noises about him taking Osayi-Samuels spot in the team for the rest of the tournament, however Alebiosus injury seems to have put an end to that.

A steady centre half for the Hammers but Matt Woods was better player back then and never got a chance. -
Yeah, they’re a good side. All big fast and strong guys. Strength right through the spine - Bassey, Iwobi, Oshiem. I like the look of the left back as well, the lad Bruno. A good no nonsense fullback who can attack if need be. The right back had a good game as well. Barring injury I can’t see our boy getting another game

The January 2026 Transfer Window
KentExile replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I dread to think where that level may be I am not sure such a level exists Before someone points out that they built a successful business they didn't, their parents did. The idiots who own Rovers, are entitled muppets who inherited that business -
The January 2026 Transfer Window
Tomphil2 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I actually saw some comments from other clubs fans on a Rovers article recently and one of them - think it was an Arsenal fan actually - said.. It looks like Venkys were totally clueless owners who made a mess of everything they've tried and had no idea how to rebuild it. So then decided to go the managed decline route and reduce the club and its expectations to a level they are capable of running. We obviously haven't even reached that level of capability yet. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Tomphil2 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Did the owners ever even have the pitch issue put to them ? Remember various people have admitted they've never asked them for extra transfer funds because they didn't want to rock the boat. Waggot allegedly costed it up but was he just window dressing and prepping fans with excuses for more players sales and commission for his mates ? IF he did was it then kyboshed by you know who or the V's numerous finance people on the board ? If you're someone wheeling and dealing at this club you don't wan't a huge lump of extra budget going towards a new pitch there's bugger all to be made from that in percentages. Asking owners for more money when your job is based on cost cutting and running within decreasing budgets doesn't look good on you either. Clubs is owned by clowns but the people they have running it are shysters imo. -

I went to that game , the damage was done at Blackpool the week before , when Bailey and Wagstaffe got injured and were unable to play . To add to the misery of the day, a loud speaker announcement , that one of the Aspdens (i think) coach drivers went home at half time and some Rovers fans were stranded .. The weather was similar to today , very cold and snow on the ground . -
I think there’s just one England international older than Duggie still alive mate, Ken Brown the West Ham centre half. A one cap wonder who’s just a few weeks older than Bryan 😬
-
Only HT at the moment but Nigeria look favourites to me.

Doherty? he normally plays on the wing, but has played left back once or twice for the U21s (normally later on when we are looking for a goal & run out of subs), so It would be a fair assumption that he would be able to give it a go at wing back Still behind Powell in my opinion though -

They beat Tottenham in the final the year before. Think I missed a year out. Sutton beat them in 89, Coventry won the cup in 87😂

I have personally spoke to 12 ST holders who are all boycotting the game.
