  1. Past hour
  2. there is no way lyndon dykes is taking a pay cut to come here,he would improve our set pieces though, guaranteed to get his head on them
  3. A booking when I was playing ! Along with a - “ Next time sonny, you’re for first go at the bath water “.
  4. or he has scored 7 in 54 for Birmingham, which included a year playing for possibly the best funded League 1 team in history who walked the league at a canter. add to that he is now in his 30s, the signs point to a decline on what was not a prolific record in the first place
  5. it`s blindingly clear we`ll be in the bottom six come may,it`s all part of the project innit, the signings in january will be an indication that the club will not be allowed to progress
  6. We've got to bring some goals into the side; we don't score enough, ergo we don't win enough games. Failure to addess that and we'll be nervously stuck around the bottom 6 for the remainder I fear.
  7. Gudjohnsen stays centre of the pitch, has decent link up play, whilst Ohashi looks to run the channels. I think Dykes could play a similar role to Gudjohnsen. Dykes roughly average 1 goal every 4.5 games at QPR so that's 10 goals a season. If he could come in a get 5 goals within 15 games period then I would be be happy. Everytime with yourself, you are so quick to slagged off and moan about people's suggestions whilst coming up with none of your own and when asked, we get the standard line, I'm not a scout, i don't know on fees involved but I will continue to moan at others for their suggestions. Nothing patronising in my post but yet again, just posted the same old comments from you. You didn't read my comments and you misunderstood who does the transfer negotiations otherwise you wouldn't have posted what you did. No-one comment about its well structure or harmonious but you throw these comments in for some unknown reasons
  8. Such a thought could be… ‘Why are a club who love deflecting blame not ‘shouting from the rooftops’ that it wasn’t their decision?’
  9. What happens if two of our committee want a player and two of them don’t? What skill/experience does Gestede have in contract negotiations? Why are some people unable to use critical thinking?
  10. There is no-one left at the Rovers to "Pick this up" with.
  11. I agree. In all my anti ownership arguments over the years, this has been the trump card. Name me just one thing etc
  12. That would have been a red in the 1970's
  13. I know we have more pressing issues than selling tickets for Sheffield Wednesday away, but it would be good if someone from Fans Forum could pick this up, or another supporters representative and ask why this ludicrous decision was made.
  14. Yeah John, I was watching on P+(next match on there is New Year's Day). I think Golazo Network had a "Soccer Saturday" like thing going on for the entire division. Here's the webpage to keep track of what matches they've got coming up: The Football League - CBS & Paramount +
  15. Website shows: But click on buy tickets and game doesn't show. No respect for fans.
  16. Gudjohnsen and Dykes ? Two different types of strikers. They might be a good pair, one doing the donkey work and the other scoring the goals but we all know which one would be scoring the goals.
  17. Today
  18. We should have won that Perth test--109 up with 9 wickets standing and lost. Would be 2-2 now and looking forward to a showdown in Sydney. But it was still great to win at last.
  19. I fear you will be pretty accurate with that, it does seem like our history against struggling clubs for a long time now.
  20. We were really blessed to follow Rovers at that time.
  21. With our ever growing injury list, caused by our flimsy squad, being overplayed, we desperately need to strengthen our squad in January, or get sucked into the relegation battle.
  22. I know we have more pressing issues than selling tickets for Sheffield Wednesday away, but it would be good if someone from Fans Forum could pick this up, or another supporters representative and ask why this ludicrous decision was made.
  23. The ref was being overly friendly with Hackney first half when he was having a moan about a blatent foul on Tronstad. He had the best view in the house of the red card incident so all I can think is subconsciously he decided to not apply the rules and let him off ''as hes not that sort of player''. Regardless, we were superb yesterday given our injuries and the number of young players getting valuable minutes. We seemed to have much better stamina/fitness levels and only one team looked like winning it when we entered the final 10/15 minutes. The defence was strong and every player gave 100%. A shame we didn't have a goalscorer to turn it into 3 points.
  24. Does Gudjohnsen just play a "focus point role?" His main job is to score goals. Dykes might have played a lot in the league but he has never really learnt how to score very often in it. And thanks for your further patronising comments regarding our well structured and harmonious transfer committee.
  25. The fact this was our first win in Australia since 2014 is little reward in a test that was frankly a farce. But it does point towards how bad things we were before the current regime took over. I've got several mates who have flown out for day 3, I don't know whether to laugh or cry, all that money and the tests over......Cricket Australia have some answers to come up with, 94,000 sell out on day 3 and that money will be returned, some heads may roll for that one.
